Hi,

I live in Manitoba and I would like to sponsor my friend from India.I would like to know about the requirements for 'How to Sponsor a friend' or if this category is still open. What would be the procedure do that? I tried to search online but no luck. Please help me.

I am Permanant Resident in Winnipeg from last 2 years. How many persons I can sponsor at a time? How can I calculate my friend's points?
Thank You

You can sponsor 1 friend and 1 close relative at a time. For points calculation go to - www.immigratemanitoba.com or www.mpnponline.com

Hello Seniors and all.

Hope you are doing well. Pls if you can explain the following in EOI (understanding the ranking system)

Factor 6: Risk Assessment, under this why do the points shown on the right side has got minus before them.....see below link pls...(as per my understanding it looks like if you have got anything out of four sub factors then your respective scores would get minus from total)

http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/mpnp-for-skilled-workers/expression-of-interest/

V P Singh

You are right V P Singh. If any of those four provided factors is true for you, your score will be deducted. That is why, those are termed as risk factors.

The rule is , you cannot submit you application to CIC with an invalid IELTS certificate. So in your case I think the answer is yes, you need to retake IELTS.

Hi
The officer assesses the application on the day he receives it. If I were you, I would have been very disheartened; however, I would have taken IELTS again. This will eliminate the chance of application getting rejected which is not a good situation either. Therefore, my advice would be to take IELTS again.

Hope it helps.
