Hi znarfier,

I have received LAA and now I am in process of sending application. But as I filled up my employment details, it showed the following error in the last tab "Review & Submit":

""Your total years of full time working is less than as was specified in the EOI-SW (see 'Review EOI-SW' in Review & Submit).""

In my EOI-SW, I answered that I worked 5 YEARS FULL TIME in past 5 years. While filling up the application after receiving LAA, I found that if I the data as follows then it shows the above error:

example not working but it's factual dates:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 23-09-2013 to present

But if I use the following details and overlap the dates of both jobs then the above error is not there.

Example which is working but not fact as the dates are overlapping:
1st job - from 12-01-2009 to 22-09-2013
2nd Job - from 22-09-2013 to present

So can you please advise whether you faced any of such problem or if you have any solution?

Thanks

Clarification regarding risk assessment particularly for MPNP:

Previous immigration application to another province -100

What is exactly considered as previous immigration application? We applied for a provincial nominee program for NOC2173 submitted just last year October 2014. However it was returned to us on February 17th this year because the cap has already been reached.

For those applying on EOI --- is this considered a previous immigration application and thus a risk assessable -100?

Our assumption is a previous application is considered as any application that as been reviewed and or rejected or ongoing and cancelled. Our application under NOC2173 was not even reviewed - it was simply returned in full even the fee has been returned to us stating that the cap have already been reached and that we may try to apply again - but we didn't due to EOI.

I would very much appreciate any response.

Thank you for your time.

Hi guys. My wife just has been nominated by MPNP today.

To give a respite to my wife and earn more money, I need to apply my open work permit as a spouse of nominated person immediately.
However, I cannot find any application form. How/Where should I start my application?? I tried to apply for it via online,
but there is no option for my case (spouse of nominated person). PLEASE help me out.

Just for your reference, our status as shown below;

Me: Student with a study permit valid from 2014 to 2018
Wife: Full-time worker with a spousal open work permit valid from 2014 to 2018
Approval letter from MPNP says there is no restriction for employment.

Thank you.

Does anyone know about work permit for MPNP applicant's spouse?

So me and my partner have already get approved on MPNP but we have only one-year Post Graduate Work Permit so we need to extend our permit now. So me as a co-applicant, do I get open work permit for universal use or I will have to stuck with same employer for the near future?

Thanks in advance!

MPNP under the Expression of Interest System – Draw #4 – July 17, 2015

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 111

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 670

Skilled Workers Overseas

Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 105

Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 578

PLEASE NOTE:

1. For reasons which could include a large existing inventory of un-assessed applications; low labour market-demand; and/or significant barriers to labour market participation, Expressions of Interest from Skilled Workers Overseas in the following occupations have not been considered in this draw:
•Registered Nurses
•Secondary and Elementary School Teachers
•Vocational and College Instructors
•University Professors
•General and Specialist Physicians

2. If your score is higher than that of the lowest-ranked candidate, but you have not received an Letter of Advice to Apply, this could be because:
•You have indicated that you have taken an approved third-party language test to demonstrate your language ability in English/French, but have not provided a valid Test Number in your EOI or your language test is no longer valid

•You have indicated that you have received an Invitation to Apply to the MPNP under a Strategic Initiative, but did not provide a valid Invitation Number

Please note that for each question in EOI, help text is available, providing detailed information on the information you should enter. If one of these scenarios applies to you, you may wish to update your EOI with the correct information in order to be considered for the next draw from the EOI pool.

3. Candidates who indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in Manitoba have been selected in this draw. However, the MPNP may not accept or may refuse full applications from those candidates who are not actually working in a regulated occupation and/or fail to provide proof of having undergone all necessary licensing steps to be employed in Manitoba. If this applies to you, you may wish to consider declining your Letter of Advice to Apply.

Good day po Mam/Sir,

This might be off-Agenda but I hope you can spare me some inputs po regarding MPNP.

Me and my husband wants to apply fir MPNP. I've been reading over the net about the procedures but a bit confused coz i've been leading to different infos whenever I open a site related to that article/steps.

Details are:
Husband: Principal Applicant
Connection: His Uncle is Canadian Citizen
IELTS Exam: GT April 2014 L-6.5 R-5 W-5.5 S-6.5 Overall=6
Education: Finished HS; 1yr done in BSIT; AutoCad Module 20days
Work Experience: Total of 5yrs as Retail Supervisor

Our first idea is to apply for MPNP thru Manitoba Support.

My Questions are:
1. Are we still under the process of submitting an EOI as Initial step even we dont apply for Express Entry?
2. What could be the equivalent of his Ielts score in CLB Ranking Points?
Is it L-22, R-17, W-20, S-22, is this correct or i will just follow the Overall as CLB 6 with 20points?
3. Where to put the CLB Score? First or Second Official Language?
4. What points is appropriate to his education? Is it still Zero as No Formal Post-Secondary?
5. What we can Answer in Manitoba demand? What does ITA for Strategic Initiative mean?
6. Do we have to answer the F6 Risk assessment if nothing applies?
7. Do I also have to take the IELTS exam as spouse who will accompany the Principal applicant?

Sorry po if I have too many questions, i'm a bit confused po kasi with their terminologies.

I hope you could help me po on this questions.

Thank you so much po in advance. ;)

Hi janhris415,
I don't know much about Manitoba support. Well if he qualifies for Manitoba support may be he can go for that.Better still he should ask his uncle which is better
Answers to your questions.
1.This question is not clear. But I think the answer is that you can submit EOI and do not go to express entry yet.
2.When you get to the site there is a link around CLB score that takes you to your IELTs and CLB score equivalent.
3.Since IELTS is English then it is Fist language unless you are from a french speaking country then french will be your first language
4. I don't understand HS and BSIT
5.In Manitoba demand your answer will be no unless you are invited in the strategic initiative. Strategic initiative is still a little unclear to me. what i understand is that Manitoba will announce a time frame to apply for strategic initiative if you are chosen then you will travel to Manitoba on you own expense and find out about work(and possibly apply for work), housing etc then you will write a report and submit to Manitoba immigration office in Winnipeg. After which based on your report and work you may have got you may be given an ITA. this will give you additional 500 points.
6. yes you have to answer no or yes to the question.
7.No, you-the spouse don't need it under Manitoba Skilled worker.

I hope I have been helpful.
