Had read in a few previous posts that one of the supporter had gone to the MPNP Office to inquire about the status of the applicant and how long would it take.
He was told by the officer that they are clearing all 2014 applications by March 2016.
But that doesnt seem to be the case now.
Secondly any applicant from india???
On cic.gc.ca it had been told that the processing times for a PNP application from India would be 20 months.
Mine is assessment pending since 9 months.
Any leads guys???

Hi mohdsafiuddin,

I'm from the Philippines and I had my medicals in one of the Panel Physicians in Manila. No pre-scheduling was required by my Panel Physician - they allowed walk-in.

> prior to the medical examination:
- I printed out the MR letter and all the forms IMM 1017 for each member of my family and filled it out.
- Aside from our original passports, I also prepared 2 photocopies of all of our passports (the information page and the last page)
- I brought 4 passport size pictures of each member of the family (recently taken - w/in 6 months)

> we arrived at the medical clinic at around 7:00 am and were given our queue # for registration.
> at the registration, we submitted the MR letter, the IMM 1017 forms, our original passports, the passport photocopies, and the sets of passport size pictures. They then provided us with other forms to fill up.
> after the registration, we were directed to the cashier to pay. We were given the receipts to present upon each stages of the medical tests.

> initially, our blood pressures (vital signs), height, and weight were taken
> then the succeeding tests we did were the laboratory tests.
- they provided us with clean collection bottles for our urine
- we had phlebotomy (blood extraction) procedure
> we all went thru the eye examinations first and then physical examinations followed:
- we were interviewed by the MD (individually, except they allowed us to accompany the kids)
= health history was asked (including family health history)
= the test included examination of our naked bodies (done very privately) and some movement coordination
> next came the chest x-rays (kids below 7 were exempted)
> we waited for the x-ray results
> while waiting for the x-ray results, we went to the immunization section (I believe that's what it's called) and were asked for immunization / vaccine history. If lacking, they'll provide you with one at an extra cost.
> at the very last, after all test results were finalized, we were informed of the results.

Regarding the police clearance certificates, we submitted ours with the PR application as what was listed in the checklist.

... Good luck to all of us ...

When did you apply?
I applied in Feb 2014 and it was assessment pending till October 2015.
That's 20 months in itself before I heard anything from MPNP, and then there's the CIC process.

Hii druce kindly tell if background check is done after AOR or not??

Background checks is definitely done after AOR. I am not sure at what stage exactly as this seems to vary from Visa Offices. I have read that some VO's will first do background checks and then send out MR, other do the MR first and them do background and criminality last.

Anyone else that has a better idea is welcome to contribute here?

I have not done anything about medicals as I have not yet received MR. I will wait patiently until I get MR and I believe this will be in April looking at other timelines of Pretoria VO in the past.

I also requested GCMS notes the 18th of March so will get that back during April and see how far my application is. If I dont get any MR, PCC Request or GCMS notes I am going to visit Pretoria VO 3 May 2016. They accept personal inquiries the first Tuesday of each month.

Dear All,

Did you submit PCC for your spouse as well?

-----------------------

As per Document Checklist [IMM 5690] (01-2016) E, item no. 15:

Police Certificates and Clearances:

You must get a PC from each Country where you have lived for 6 or more months in a row since the age of 18.

-----------------------

In my understanding of the above, only the principal applicant (you) is required, unless CIC/VO requests for: PCC for spouse + children/dependents above 18.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and observations.
The PCC is for everyone included in your application that is 18 years and older needs to submit PCC's. So you will have to get it for your wife as I suppose she is older than 18.

here is the link:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EP7TOC.asp#overview

Police certificates

You and your family members who are 18 years of age and older and are not permanent residents or Canadian citizens must provide a valid police certificate for each country other than Canada, in which you have spent six or more months since the age of 18.

Note: If you or your family members were under 18 years of age (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) for the entire time you lived in a particular country, you do not need to provide a police certificate for that country.

If the original certificate is not in English or French, then you will need to submit both the certificate and the original copy of the translation prepared by an accredited translator.

We will also do our own background checks to determine if there are grounds under which you and your dependants may be inadmissible to Canada.

For specific and up-to-date information, see our guide on how to get a police certificate.

Hope this helped you guys, please hit the [good] button if it did :P

Had applied on 31st July 2014 MPNP ONLINE
Request for SP PART 2. 5th July 2015
Till date assessment pending.
Barring the months listed on the website even an intimation of a yes or no would do so as to know where we actually stand any chances..

Hi Justsingh,

That's too soon, I think ... but then again, you'll never know ...

We've done our medicals last March 18, 2016 and the ECAS showed it as CIC received by March 28 ...
... anxiously awaiting for our most coveted PPR ... ;) ;) ;D

... Good luck to all of us ...
