Hi Guys,

I just checked out my AWB from DHL and they've told me that LOOMIS courier delivered my docs to CIC office in Nova Scotia. May I know what's the turn around time before I get my AOR or UCI from the officer. Appreciate your advise guys. Thank you.

Yes, the better your file is transferred the better. This does not show up on ecas, I only received the e-mail and my ecas is still 2 lines:

1) received 28 September (if i remember correctly)
2) in process 11 December
Hello druce
My file was transferred In May 2014 to my local visa office in Delhi. They said they have a processing period of 20 months, which is now over. As of now I'm waiting for my medical request.
I was thinking about sending a case specific inquiry, just wanted to know what did you ask them in your inquiry?
Thanks

Hi Bavon,

Congratulations.... That was FAST!

How did they know of their file transfer, please? Where does the information show?

I was already able to access the CIC login page, but it still says my PR aplication file is in process.

Thanks in advance for it answer.

Just Landed at 10h30 at Emerson, MB
All went as commented by friends, with all friendly questions.
It took all in all 45 minutes and i was on my way with the family.
hope all goes well with you guys.

Congratulations Bavon!

... best wishes ...

Hi stanmacz,

I've just checked your NOC code and this is licensed practical nurse. I believe that application for nurses, school instructor/professors/teachers is slowly moving as currently they (Canada) are not in need of this profession. I think that this was indicated on their site. Most applicants from the Philippines with same job is experiencing the same struggle as yours. Don't loose hope my friend. Your time will come. Just have a lot of patient for this waiting game. You may check the site below. The note for Skilled Workers Overseas was updated since 2014. May God bless you and your application.

Don't fret stanmacz,

If you will notice in my timeline, it took me 19 months before receiving my MPNP confirmation of nomination.

MPNP online application : Feb. 3, 2014
MPNP confirmation (LOA) : October 30, 2015

... imagine that ...

... Good luck to all of us ...

I would definitely send them the CSI. Just state the question as simple and straight forward as possible. My question read something like this:

Has my file been transferred to my Local Visa Office, South Africa, Pretoria?

Hope this helps

Hi There,

i have applied under the express entry and have 390 score.

I can get someone to nominate me from Manitoba as their friend. The problem is that the husband has already nominated a person , so i was wondering if his wife can now nominate me or can the couple only nominate one friend.

Please let me know.
Short answer is no. Here is the explanation:

1) You can only sponsor more than one applicant at a time if they are both close relative (family stream)
2) They work per household. So if they live at the same address, then it will not be allowed.

I hope this helps.

And hey Bavon, congratulations on landing my friend!

Hi Druce,

May I know how soon (from receipt of AOR) did you send a CSI to CIC? 2 weeks or 3 weeks perhaps?

... Good luck to all of us ...

I waited +-30 days and they took another 2 weeks before answering me.

Hi Druce,

This really tests our patience .... what is supposedly the normal time for file transfer (from AOR), would you know?

CIC says to let the normal processing time past before inquiring (CSI)...

Thanks for answering ...

... Good luck to all of us ...

Hi all,

Do we have to send Police clearance Certificate when we send file to CIC?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Maddy1921,

Yes, you have to send Police Clearance Certificate (for you, your spouse or common law partner, and all of your dependents 18 years old and above)...

If you would read carefully the guide P7000 (which was modified dated 2015-12-15) and the document checklist 5690 - see link below, you will be properly guided...

... good luck to all of us...
