Hi Druce,

Do they send the MR to the same email address that CIC adressed the AOR to? ... other posts say the MR is mailed, which is which please, if you may know the answer...?

... Good luck to all of us ...
I am sure they send it to the same e-mail as the one they sent your AOR to.

I have only read about applicants that did not include e-mail in the application and got it by regular mail. The rest of the people gets correspondence via e-mail.

Under Canada’s immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case.
Hello druce, this is the reply I got from NDVO for the case specific enquiry. Do you have any idea about this background check from outside agencies?

Thank you for sharing the response you received from NDVO.

I think by outside agencies they mean, Local Police Authorities, Anti Terrorism Watch groups, etc. This is the first time I hear about this.

Can someone else please elaborate on this subject?

I think they talked about your employer inquiry and other job related document they check through the external agency. I heard from previous applicants that Local visa office sometimes do personally inquiry to applicants job place. In some case they visit to employer's place and check weather you are available on that place or not. They ask about over job status to surrounding people of our job place. I also heard that they checked by asking peon of your office or watchmen of your company where you work.

I agree on this point as a my case inquiry was done from my neighbour by some unknown persons from our local area only and my neighbour told me about this. After a weeks time my sponsor was interviewed. So, it makes this clear.

verification done before your nomination??

Are you from which country??

thanks for your answer in advance.....
