Hello Everyone,

I applied online (MPNP) in June 2014 and the current status is " Assessment Pending".

I just received my renewed Residence Permit Card (State of Qatar). I just want to ask if I should update/add the document (copy) on my application online.

Please need your advise...

No need to panic ,I understand what you are trying to say, its called MPNP "EXPRESS ENTRY" already in operation since 30th April 2015 where you have to send your expression of interest in the form of your attributes ( Age, qualifications, language ability, adaptability etc).

The key difference is that you may send them your online expression of interest but if your points dont meet up with their points threshold ( which fluctuate as per their need) your file will not be selected for processing.

Things need to remember that it will have no effect on the application submitted before the advent of this express entry system.. so you are pretty much safe.. your file will come to a conclusion eventually.

I am May 2014 applicant . My status changed from Received to Assessment pending on 28th May 2015 . When will my sponsor be interviewed ? How much time is taken by mpnp to process a file after assessment pending status ?

No interview call either mine or my sponsor till date . Î want to know when will mpnp take interview . More than 13 months gone . So slow process .

Its so annoying. I am also waiting since 1 year and after that a further cic process. Sigh. In india do we need to put up file in vfs or send it to new delhi high commission for stamping?

Did you check your status! if it says "Assessment Complete" then it means that your application has been finalized. Most probably Its LOA...that you shall receive it soon .. if you have provided your mailing address same as your supporter's then he/she shall receive it within two weeks. I presume you have provided your mailing address same as your permanent address which is in India then it could take upto 3 months to receive as they dispatch the letters through an ordinary post to overseas destinations.

I am also June 2014 applicant, assessment went pending in March 2014 and waiting for supporter's interview.
Could you please share your detailed processing timelines in this forum including your nominated occupation, assessment pending date, document request (if any made by mpnp), applicant/supporter interview dates, assessment in process date and assessment complete date. It will help us all to have a guess about how far we are from the decision.

My sponsorer got the call. Is this considered as interview/inquiry? It was done on 10th june. So can i expect the straight decision or they will take some more time?

My assessment went to 'in process' in April. Since then I am awaiting sponsor interview. I am a Feb 2014 applicant. No body has the exact idea, what time will it take to process the applications. Fingers crossed, we all are hopefully waiting.

Hi Robin,

If your status says "Assessment in Process" it means your application is at reviewing stage. I strongly believe that they will be finanlising most of the pending applications within two months of time. 5500 nominations will be distributed among the credible applicants till the end of this year. Delay in processing is causing mainly due to the advent of new mpnp express entry system as they have to run two systems at the same time. By the end of August most of applications will be served.. it cant be more than that... fingers crossed☺
