Hi again what if the applicant doesn't have not enough settlement fund but the thing is pretty sure she will be okay with her sponsor would that be grounds for disapproval thanks

If the sponsor will indicate that he/she will financially support the applicant, then the applicant might have a chance. However, the sponsor should be able to show that he/she is capable of financially supporting the applicant - Salary vs. obligations etc.

Hi everyone, I'm a newhere

I just want to share my timeline and can somebody add me on 2013-2014 track sheet as well please.

MPNP - General Stream(still working in Canada)

Application Submitted online: feb 09, 2014
AOR / File #: feb 12 2014
SP2 sent: June 26 2014

Hi Friends ,

I have recently submitted my application for MPNP ( Close Friend / Family Support ) . My timeline is :-
19 May 2014 - Send Application Online
19 May 2014 - Received application Confirmation .
19 May 2014 - My Sponsor received SP 2 through E mail
03 June 2014 - SP2 Submitted by sponsor physically at Winnipeg Office .

My question is :-
My aunt is sponsoring me but we have no document that has my Grandfathers Name ( fathers and my fathers sister ) on it .My father is some 73 years old . Do they give some relief as they did not have birth certificates at that time ..... I have submitted their respective id's which mention their fathers name . Do you think its enough . Is there any other document that can be shown. I mean like passport , national id's , driving license etc . They all have fathers name on it . Is it equally good. Please help. Thanks .

Try to find ways in getting the birth certificate, otherwise it would be better to just apply for general stream. Good luck.

@Einna

Thanks a lot . But are you sure that there is no way out for Birth Certificate . Even my Aunt in Canada does not have her own Birth Certificate from India.

Has anyone else faced similar problem ....

Hi We are going to submit our application to manitoba on first or second week of july 2014. Me and my sister took ielts and this is our score. Kindly clarify it this score are eligible.
Speaking : 6
Reading : 6.5
Writing:5.5
Listening: 6.5
Total band : 6

My Sister Score
Speaking : 5.5
Reading : 6.5
Writing:5.5
Listening: 5.5
Total band : 6

And one more thing do i need to submit form 137 and diploma of my husband or mine is enough. I Only have his transcript of records and diploma in college. Thanks in advance

Hello dqueen1016! Since you are the principal applicant, your personal documents are vital. If you can get a copy of your husband's F137 + HS Diploma, the better. As it will be a good additional supporting documents for him showing more/additional years of studying English, however, his college TOR + Diploma are enough being your dependent.

Good luck!

Hi dqueen1016! Do you and your sister have separate supporters with your MPNP application?

According to your IELTS scores as you mentioned above, you are both qualified! As per MPNP Self-Assessment Point, Factor 1: Language Profeciency, you are eligible for CLB 6 or 7 with 16 / 18 Points!

Hello there, I am new here and have a question regarding the IELTS, my occupation is Graphic Designer and according some pages I've seen goes under the code B on the NOC list (5241 Graphic designers and illustrators) I would like to know if IELTS is a mandatory requirement, thank you so much.

IELTS is mandatory requirement. In online application, you cannot submit the form until you put the IELTS result. ;)

I see, already submitted the form online without the IELTS results because I haven't taken yet, thats why I'm confused, and if that is the case and have to take it anyway that's fine i will take it, do they still accepting the results after I submitted all the other documents? I scored 62 points even without having any points at the language proficiency section, my sister has been PR for the last 8 years in Wpg and i am applying under the family stream, thank you.

Good day!

I have a concern regarding the English proficiency requirement when applying in MPNP. Do they accept IELTS academic module results? I took the academic version because my intended occupation when I go to Canada requires this one. Is it possible that my application will be denied if I submitted my IELTS acad results? :'(
