Hv u submitted SP2, if so, from that day approximately maximum 8 months will require to get LOA. It depends, consider that u submitted all required docs in detail.

If u r lucky enough it may come within six months also. Good luck

Thanks Neeloy for reply.... Neither me nor my sponsor received any mail regarding SP2 yet. :(

HI Einna, im a newbie here ...are you done with your MPNP and now applying for federal? I sent our MPNP appl last Feb 2014 and i heard they are still processing august 2013...hope you can guide me also when we receive our LOA :))

Hi Erin1125,

With God's grace, I receive my LOA from MPNP after waiting for almost 6 months. Once you receive your LOA, you will see the instruction there for the next step.

I'm under General Stream. Family stream according to my friend's experience is way faster. But sometimes that also depend on the bulk of applications that MPNP receives by the time you apply.

You will notice the trend of responses from MPNP by looking at the timeline of the members of this forum.

God bless us all and Good luck in our application ;)

Hi Alwina21,

My friend in MB advised me to have at least 6 months bank statement before sending my application. It was not a rule but that's what most applicants did and it works.
It is still up to you if you want to try with only 3 months bank statement.

If you put yourself in the immigration officer or your case reviewer's shoes, would you not question why the savings only started 3 months ago? just a thought.

Hello, I have started uploading my documents(I am the main applicant) online for MPNP but my husband's father name is not on his birth certificate and I see where both parents name should be on the dependents birth certificate. I need to know if I have to have this sorted out? My husband's father is now deceased.

Thanks.

Hi Winty,

You might want to sort that out just to avoid any question or delay in your application.

Thanks a lot EINNA:)

Guys, is it necessary to hire a consultant to process my documents in applying for MPNP because they are going to review and analyze all the necessary documents needed or is it just okay to do it myself? I'm afraid that if I do it myself maybe there's something missing in my documents and maybe it will be returned to me and will just caused delays...Thanks. . .

Alwina21,

It will be up to you if you want to hire a consultant.
In my opinion, the new online MPNP system is very straight forward. You will not be able to complete it when you do not have all the required documents.

I agree with Einna, just follow instructions and you'll be able to complete everything smoothly/correctly. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to ask here and someone would surely share their knowledge/opinion.

Your parents living in Winnipeg can sponsor your brother and sister since they are living there. You can't sponsor them because you live in a different province. If you want to sponsor them then you have to settle in Manitoba for at least 1 year.
