Hi guys,
Quick question please. Did anyone submit their application using a distant relative?and is any document required to prove the relationship?im wondering if I need to get an affidavit or something to prove the relationship between my second cousin and i. Please guys, your advice will be really appreciated

Hello,

We're almost ready to apply MPNP. But we got confused few things.
Could you please help us to clarify?

- There is an issue date on marriage certificate. It's been 5 months old. Does it matter?
Should we get a new marriage certificate so an issue date can be within 3 months from the applying date?

- Does translated certificates need to be notarized?

- the main applicant is my husband. Do I, as his spouse, need to be in Canada when we apply MPNP and stay until the whole process finishes?

- My husband graduated from university of manitoba. Does he still need an IELTS score to prove his English skill?
Or, graduation certificate will do?

Please please help us.
We thought these were not a problem but then someone told us that we are wrong.
We tried to reach Immigration office to clarify these issues but we haven't got any replies yet.
If we need a new marriage certificate with new date, we need to act quick since we should get the certificate from Korea.
Please anyone has a thought or information on them, help us.

helo theoese, i have answered your question in the other forum..you dont need an affidavit.your sponsor will endorse your settlement plan.he or she needs to fill up and answer the questions in setllement plan part 2 which will be emailed to him/her by mpnp once you submitted your application.

I believe an email should have been sent to your sponsor already.tell him/her to check their mails regularly,if it's been sent,it should be in there by now.congrats on your submission ;)your file number would be in pretty soon.Goodluck to you...and to us all

Received my file number the next day and my sponsor also received an email to send the SP2.

Good luck to us!

Hi Rosy Cheeks, just to inquire with you coz i'm currently here working in Singapore but my permanent residency is in Philippines. I read in CIC for the Processing times for provincial nominee applications for Singapore is 30 months and Philippines is 12.. My question here is can i just apply there in Philippines as the processing time there is much faster or it should be here in Singapore since i'am working here?

Hi Havoc
I have not received my nomination yet but I am planning to choose Manila as my Visa Office
then its up to the CIO to decide.,I read from other forum that some of the filipinos in SG requested their file to be transfered to manila.so pede din tlaga natin ilagay na manila ang visa of ofis

Thanks Rosy Cheeks for the prompt reply.. I'll be sending my MPNP online application this coming 1st week of April. So ang ilalagay ko na ba na address is yung sa Philippines or ok lang na here sa Singapore yung gamitin ko muna?

your adress should be in Singapore since you are working here but your mailing adress must be in your sponsors home adress in manitoba so that it will be faster for you to receive any notice from mpnp.
