1) my friend going to sponsor me for connection to Manitoba and she born citizen here but I been knew her just last more than 1 and half year but we are best friend now. can she support me and that will count as a strong connection to Manitoba because I don't know anybody else in Canada.
2)I got a job in skill category level-b and my job is insurance broker and I am full time employee.
3) I have been worked in Manitoba for 1 year with aother employer.
4)I took my study in Ottawa but then I moved here because I couldn't found a job over there and I found it was also expensive for me.
5) I got license from insurance council of Manitoba to work as a insurance broker which make sense that I have only authority to work in Manitoba.
6)my company offered me some another license course which I am planning to do very soon.
7)I know some friends who got approved their mpnp and they are living and doing their full time jobs permanently in Manitoba since last couple of years ago
8)i got 5.5 overall ielts band break down: LISTENING-6.0 READING-5.5 WRITING-4.5 SPEAKING-6.5

are all those things make me strong applicant to approved my MPNP and be a permanent resident of Manitoba?

As you apply for MPNP there will be forms to complete, Settlement Plan Part 1 (SP1) is for the applicant and Settlement Plan Part 2 (SP2) is for your sponsor. These 2 play a very important role to establish your intention to work and stay in Manitoba to be a part of their economic progress. You may start reading the official website and gather all necessary information.

I hope someone ca help me on my queries below.

Hello Guys!

I'm just newbie here in the forum, im not an expert but i got some information from my relatives in winnipeg as per them they priorities are those who applied
through online, so those who applied through snail mails like sending them all the documents through couriers it will take time.

actually all our documents have been consolidated now and we will just upload it through online procedure.
however, our application might get delayed as well coz my cousin has another sponsorship on process as per her it will take 12 months to 18 months.
im very upset when i heard that news from her our IELTS result will expire on Aug 2015.

does anyone knows if my cousin could apply their settlement plan for us and for our another cousin?

Hi, you only have to mention 1 intended occupation if in case your occupation is regulated in Manitoba, there is a question in Settlement plan part 1 asking you to give another occupation which is related to your skills or training , then you can mention 2 or 3 more occupations related to your skills or training. these occupations should not be regulated.

For your question number 2, in my case, One of my previous employer address it to Immigration Canada and they wrote for Visa application purposes. My other previous employers just wrote "To whom this may concern" and the purpose they just wrote it as " for whatever legal purpose it may serve her best".

Hope that help you a bit... :D

Hello! I'm new here.

Just want to ask, is there a way that I may know if the Canadian Embassy here in Manila received my documents? I received my nomination last July, 2013 then I submitted the required application forms, documents and payments to the CIC. Then in I got my file number last October, 2013. So I checked my application status online. It is said there that they have recieved my application on September that year. Then they requested for a medical examination last Nov. which I had completed by December. After that, I kept on checking my application status online to see if there's any development. They only started processing my application last Dec. 16 and they said that my medical results have been received. I, again, received an email requesting for my NBI/ police clearance which I submitted to the Canadian Embassy here in Manila last Dec. 24. Until now, I haven't received any confirmation that they had received it unlike my other documents. Although my application status is "in process" in the CIC's website, I am still worried why the notification stopped at "Medical results have been received". Are they gonna post that my NBI/police clearance had been received too? What will be the next step? How long does this usually take? Thank you very much!
