Hi I have got Nomination ...... :) :) :) :)

I would like inform all the nomination waiting friends that "do not give up, wait and pray".

Good news for nurses.... I am a nurse. "Nurses, your applications are been reviewed by MPNP".

Hi seniors,

Is there any thing do I need to attach any supporting documents other than in the document checklist of Provincial Nomination Category. Eg. work history of applicant, spouse. Financial information attachments like bank paper, fixed deposit etc. Educational details eg. degree certificate etc. Education assessment by WES etc

These documents are not mentioned in the document checklist and asked only Original forms.

Thanks in advance..... :) :) :) :)

Congratulations!

Regarding the CIC documentation that you need to send, Don't send anything extra. Just send what they ask and nothing more.
They don't even look at the extra stuff. just discard it.

I have applied for my student visa and have enrolled myself in a one year PGD Project Management course at University of Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am thinking about what to do after my course. If I should continue studying for another year - get a three year Post Graduation Work Permit and during this work visa apply for PR (after securing a job). OR finish my one year course at the University of Winnipeg, apply for PGWP directly after graduation and during one year get a job and apply for PR (possible through MPNP).

Each of the option has its PROS and CONS

- First option - 1 year study + 1 year study + 3 year PGWP = PR
PROs -
1) Long base (5 years) for PR & guarantees my stay for 5 years.
2) Getting to know the province.
3) Chance to settle in life in 5 year long period.

CONs -
1) Tied up for a longer period in anticipation of PR.
2) Expensive study for another year - approx- $20000

- Second option - 1 year study + 1 year PGWP = PR (through MPNP)
PROs-
1) Less time to get PR
2) Saving atleast $20000 on education - which is a big amount.

CONs
1) Uncertainty of getting a job in a short period of 1 year (PGWP)

I need help to make a decision. I am aware that situations might change, its not feasible to be so certain in future planning but I want to give my try to get PR a definite direction.

Hello binbin79,
Congratulations on your Nomination. I believe ours will also come speedily in due time.
Please i'll like to know when your status turned to assessment in process. My application was submitted in march 2014 and my assessment pending was around November 2014, though it had changed to assessment in process, i'll like to know how many weeks or months you waited before receiving the LOA, but I'm a qualified accountant not a nurse by profession.
Thank you as I await your reply.

Hello dear friends!

Since I have been waiting and chasing for our PPR for more than a month now and as I have been counting the days, compare my timeline to those months and days ahead of me, I can not contain my mind and tell it to patiently wait for GOD's perfect timing...

Please don't get me wrong, I always believe in GOD's perfect time and I haven't changed my beliefs so far or doesn't have any plan to...

It's just that I am eagerly waiting for our PPR, so I came to this... revisit the timelines of some applicants from last year... oh their's helped me a lot now to be calm and be more patient...
