no specific reason, ndvo slows down,, during student visa time.. just wait

I am in agreement that NDVO works very slow and many people are victim of that. Just wait. It is student time for Sept intake. It will start again after August.
I am also waiting for my file number and file transfer from Sydney. It is almost 1 month I sent my file to Sydney.

wow congrats, what time did you received the email and from where are you?my husband also had medical furtherance and was cleared also. Medical received aug 10, 2014, where already in process june 3, 2014. Hoping we will received it soon also.

We received the email this 2:30pm today. From Manila Visa office.Medical received last tuesday. Ours was also in process last June. You're near already too.

No one really knows when the supporter will be interviewed. But basing on others' timelines, you might get some idea when yours will come.
A change in the status signifies that there is movement in the processing of your application.

As for my case, when my status changed to Assessment Pending, I immediately informed my supporter to be ready because she might get a call anytime. But it took more than a month before she was interviewed.

My status' timeline:
> Application Received - 10/16/2013
> Assessment Pending - 6/13/2014 (almost 8 months after Application Received)
> Sponsor Interview/Assessment In Process - 7/19/2014 (5 weeks after Assessment Pending; status immediately changed to Assessment in Process after sponsor was interviewed)
> Assessment Complete - 8/2/2014 (14 days or 2 weeks after Assessment in Process)

Hope this helps. Take note though that some applications are faster and some takes longer ( I consider mine to be in the middle but i think it's a bit slow because it took 8 long months before i saw some changes/movement). It's really a case to case basis and no one really knows the reason why there is differences in the timeline.

My status is also assessment pending from last two to three weeks.
is there any possibility that it can be changed to not accepted for assessment...any idea..does it happened with somebody else in this fourm...thogh i want to stay positive but sometimes negative things come in mind..Thanks for ur support

I guess, there were applications which were denied after sponsor interview. But i have not read any post from the members of the forum stating their application status changed from Assessment Pending to Not Accepted for Assessment.

But looking at the spreadsheet, I know of someone whose previous status was Assessment Pending, then looking at it now, its already Not Accepted for Assessment.

Maybe, those who are more Senior than me can answer that question with more clarity because i myself do not have much idea on that.
