Hi mrs aq,

Unfortunately mpnp stopped accepting applications for overseas streams since start of august 2014.. They will start accepting applications again on january 2015 so u need to wait and see new eligibility and requirements to apply..

We are filipinos that live in italy and need to plan early on how to do things if ever our mpnp application is going to be approved. Please help..

We are going to choose manila visa office, do we need to go back to Philippines ASAP once mpnp is approved to submit PR application? Or we can send it here from italy?

If we can send it from here, when do we need to go back to our home country?

Sorry for these questions, we just need to plan way ahead of time as it is not cheap goin back and forth from here to PH.

Advice from forum elders would be greatly appreciated!

If MPNP approve your application and issue a LOA, you can submit your application to CIC from Italy. You do not need to go back to Philippine. In order to submit your application to CIC you need to get a police clearance certificate from Philippine from the date of birth until start leaving in Italy and also you need a police clearance certificate from Italy. You can use your current residence in Italy and you will be call for visa in Italy visa office. It is not necessary to go back to Philippine at all. I hope it is clear. Thanks.
