Hi Guys,

After I saw my MPNP status was change to assessment completed. I start to follow up at our local post office. I know it's only a couple of weeks pass by, but i'm too excited to start stage 2 of my application. What I'm worrying about, is the post office told me that those letter they received from Canada is sent just an ordinary mail or not registered mail. Is it true?

I just hope it will never loss.

Yes, that is true. It was just sent to me by ordinary mail.

Hello Seniors,

Its been third time I am having queries and no one answers, why this every time happens to me ?????

I have put my husbands "Intended Occupation" as "Automotive Field" and mine as " Business Administration" Please help me to find whether this trade is regulated or not in my MPNP application. If it is regulated please help me to find answers to these question.

1. If your occupation is regulated, what steps will you take to meet the requirements for working in this occupation
in Manitoba?

2. If your occupation is regulated, can you start the licensing process before you arrive?

3. If your occupation is regulated, in what related occupations could you find skilled employment in Manitoba
based on your training and work experience?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear, is a little difficult to answer all in one post, my suggestion to you, is start on find yours NOC's codes and bodies of profession regulation, you can find this here:
http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/occupation_search-eng.do

PS.:"Automotive Field" is too much wide, you should be more specific, like mechanic or electrician....

After you find about your profession equivalence in Canada, should be more easy to go in the others questions.

Hope that can help you.

Hi,

My advise is to read, read more. It may help you a lot.

I have put my husbands "Intended Occupation" as "Automotive Field" and mine as " Business Administration" Please help me to find whether this trade is regulated or not in my MPNP application. If it is regulated please help me to find answers to these question.

Ans: You should be specific, your answer should be - mechanic/plumber/electrician/ electrical eng'r. etc. There is no such occupation as Buss. Adm - give specific answer like - accountant, clerk, etc. Use Google in searching for List of Canadian Occupation / NOC

If your occupation is regulated, can you start the licensing process before you arrive?

Ans: Check this URL: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=661&t=6

If your occupation is regulated, in what related occupations could you find skilled employment in Manitoba
based on your training and work experience?
