hi guys i'd just like to ask my wife stopped working 8 years ago and since then she has been a housewife.Should she execute an affidavit to that effect to fill in the gap of her employment history? thanks much!

The employment history covers the span of 10yrs,so if she stopped working 8years ago,i think it's best to put in where she worked 2years before she stopped work.i hope this helps

If you are going to apply Mpnp,then you require to provide the work related experience from last five years of your work.this should not be less than six months of countinution,and the big gap as you have may have a nagetive effect on your profile.The best will be if you countinue job again and apply after you have the fresh and required experience.This is your very weak point.Dont take the manitoba or canadian pr as selling like hot kakes.

May I ask to our beloved seniors is it ok because my sponsor from canada handed his SP2 personally to MPNP office? i understood that we wont receive any AOR for that SP2...How would we know that they received it already and process it?

Please kindly help me with your opinion regarding my IELTS. I intend to send my application to CIO this week but my result will be expiring this month precisely 21st, do you think my application stand a good chance of being assessed?

I got the same issue and I took the risk.

I sent my application Mar 11 and they received it Mar 17. My IELTS expiration date was March 31. I'm hoping that they will consider it since they received the documents by Mar 17 which is 14 days before the expiration. And also my LOA got delayed. LOA date was Nov 23, 2013 but I got it only Mar 7. But MPNP enclosed an amendment letter regarding the nomination date. I am praying and hoping that they will reconsider my IELTS. But at the sametime, I'm starting practicing also just in case I will need to take it again. I even checked the test schedule on my place just to be ready.

In your case, it is 12 days and it will expire. It is hard to tell when they will receive the documents even if you will send your application this week. It will not be good if they will receive the expired IELTS. Unless, you will enclose a letter stating that you already schedule a new IELTS test. Maybe they will consider, or maybe not. What if they will not? They might even send it back. If your application can wait for another month, take the exam first then submit the documents. In this case, you will not worry about anything

@ mayoress, Considering delays being experienced by people sending application from naija to Canada, i will humbly suggest that you retake the test this month so as to be on a more safer side.

please correct your timline entreis.you applied to mpnp on 13/7/13 and got nominatin on 22/7/13 ? impossible.mpnp processes no so fast yet.
