hi rosy cheeks, can we know the reason behind the refusal? Is that as a provincial nominee applying for permanent residence?Because im just curious havent heard any refusal from CIC and wants to know what are the possible reasons. Tnx
Hi RCG , we applied thru FSW on 2000 and recieved the refusal letter on 2007.there was a change of system on those times and we failed to update our application forms, nbi clearance, proof of funds, etc due to the negligence of our Migration agent.they assess our file based on the information available at that time and also for non compliance.we tried to appeal but the visa officer already made her final assessment and there is no way to re open the case..it took us years to accept our fate but GOD will Always find ways to fulfill His promise.

Anybody recieved MR from CEM this month of March? Its already last days of March but no signs of medical request yet from the embassy.

You're just a day ahead of me in receiving AOR from CIC :) and still got no MR this yet :)

Let me know if you get your MR already, so I will know I will get mine a day after. :)

Thanks!

In that case, you do not need to attach any documents, tick "Yes" and write explanations with date/year if possible. Thanks.

tnx thomasuk ..appreciate your reply :D

Hi guys,

What happens if the IELTS certification expires after receiving the LOA? would that mean getting the IELTS exam again for the CIC?

TIA.

zjg

hi zjg, we have the same situation.my ielts will expire in august and i have not receive LOA yet, i wonder if we still need to take ielts again..

hi guys!

I've read your discussion regarding Schedule A number 6.d) been refused refugee status, an immigrant or permanent visa or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country?

I applied before for permanent residence in Canada as federal skilled worker (2011), and I received a letter the same year indicating that I am not eligible for processing in the said category for the following reasons: my application was received after the maximum of 500 complete FSW applications per NOC 3152 was reached and did not provide evidence that i have Arranged Employment Offer.

Does it count? do i need to tick YES? please enlighten me :(

hi marrianeb, your application was not processed due to maximum cap right? so that means you dont have a file number yet..its also confusing.let's wait for the Seniors to give their opinion.

Hi zig, yes you need to have an active/not expired IELTS upon application to CIC. Since it will take time for exam schedule and release of results, my suggestion is for you to get one soon. Anyhow it will be valid for two years. God bless your application!
