I have a minor child (15years+) on study permit at Nova Scotia - would this be taking as strong ties against my mpnp application. I have plan to transfer her to Manitoba if nominated.

Kingskid, your minor child in NS will count against you as you are xpected not to have ties with other province.I want to beliwve that you have a friend or family in ns for your daughter to be onmstudy permit.

Let wait for others advice and submission.

Hi Friend,

I confused with one question and need your help. :-\
I have applied for VISA with my family (me+wife+1 kid) and it's been five month competed now.
In our case, principle applicant is my wife and me & kid is under dependent category.

We both have submitted our all documents from our current & previous employer

Now I am planning to change my Job and bit worried if there would be any issue during background checking????

Q. 1 Since, I am not the principle applicant then, is it mandatory that my background checking for current employer will be done.
Q.2 If yes, then what if I already left my Job before background check?
Q.3 If no, why?

FYI: 30 days count inclusive weekend. Also, your sponsor suppose to submit his/her immigration residential, health card and relationship documents to MPNP office. It might not be an issue as they have confirmed they have received all relevant documents but still they didn't confirm the documents are valid to make a decision.

You have two options; 1). You can wait until you receive your sponsor's interview and most cases it does happen within 5-7 months.
2). You can write an email to mpnpsupport regarding your sponsor's documents and submission of time period as it was within 32 days.

I would personally suggest to wait until any outcome comes from MPNP as you have waited more than 5 months and you can wait another 2 more months. It is too late to make an inquiry regarding documents and time period. I hope it's help. It is always better to make your own decision but you can compare with other's idea.
Thanks for your valuable advice "thomasuk"
Sure I will wait for another two months and will let you know if somthing will happen before.

Basically, employment verification doesn't come a cross for checking. Sometime they do check and it might be only for main applicant. Also if they check they might check based on employment records for MPNP application due to fraud or dodgy employment records. MPNP or CIC office do check new employment because people are occupied and they have a references. They are not in prison or something.
FYI: if you have changed your job better to notify to MPNP and CIC office that your job has been changed and it's not harm to provide the right and correct information. As a spouse applicant, does it really necessary to inform them? I am not sure.

Just write present upon printing. Some applicants put the date they will send the application. Your choice. If possible do not abbreviate.

thanks! :)
