hi everyone! my sponsor finally got interviewed by the mpnp last march 12. The interview went on smoothly according to my sponsor, I am so thankful that my sponsor handle it so well. My sponsor received my LOA yesterday after the interview we both had on 24th Feb. I will confirm the LOA date later today. Thank you everyone for the support. The journey of LOA took 11months and 2weeks. Patience is indeed a virtue.

Hi tabs, CENOMAR is Certificate of No Marriage. It's an NSO document that signifies a person has never been married.


Hi Marianneb, providing CENOMAR will depend on the initial documents you sent to MPNP. I've asked a senior about is when I was collating my docs for CIC. He said the documents we submit must coincide with what we declared to MPNP for consistency basis. Of you've submitted this initially, do so for your CIC application.

I need your on the following:

1) Address

IMM0008 -General Application Country of Residence?
IMM5406E Additional Family Information Present Address?

I am currently working in Singapore as a work permit/pass holder for 2 years now but not a Permanent Resident Card Holder. What address should I use for the above? Philippines or Singapore?

2) IMM0008 -General Application

Can I leave the "UCI" blank?
What should I use in National Identity Document? I have PRC ID and UMID.

3) Police Clearance

How can I avail the police clearance from Singapore? On their website, they indicate that they are not giving police clearance to foreigner.

4) Relative in Canada

In my MPNP online application last January 2014(status: receive application as of to date) I use my Aunt in Winnipeg as my sponsor. I did not declare that my wife has a sister in other province (Saskatchewan Canada) since she is not yet PR (only work permit holder). She applied last 2013 for PR and waiting for Passport request as of to date.

Will it affect my application to Manitoba as I didn't declare my wife's relative?
Will it affect my application to CIC later because my wife needs to declare it on IMM5406E?

Hoping for your response to clear my doubts.

Whichever you prefer, if you will provide Singapore your application will be lodge at Singapore Visa Office (SVO), if you provide Philippines, it will then be lodged at Canadian Embassy, Manila (CEM). Bear in mind, the application process in SVO takes about 24 months, whereas its about 6 months in CEM.

2) IMM0008 -General Application

Yes, you can.

i agree with you tabs, checking the documents 100th times (exaggerated) will really help a lot. There were times that i just let a day pass and check again on the documents. after a day, i always see a little overlap in dates, mispelled name of company, here and there. I re-printed the general form 4 times because of a miss on little details.

so there, if you have no time to check your documents as many times as you can, marianneb, another eye might help for quality check. =)
