i was kinda busy for the month of february and did not have time to read the forums, i just fully back read it now and im happy that almost all of our applications are going smoothly. specially for you ate tabs that your whole ordeal is finally over and you're going to start a new life in manitoba. i really hope to see you all there .

It's been 2months since the sponsor's interview. I think you should inquire about it.

i asked for my file application status from mpnp, mpnp now reply me that The application is placed in queue for pre-assessment. Once a decision has been made the applicant will receive notification in writing of the outcome.

just wait for the result of my application and update it during the CIC stage if ever I'll receive the LOA.

not possible to predict from tracksheet abt time they take... coz now a days they are picking june and August applicants.... we can not have idea about their current month processing..... but still good job seniors... mine is Sept 5 applicants... completed 6 mnths.. stil no interview. :-(

Period of interviews vary - some took only less than 5 months and mine took 8 months.
Yours will come soon.

I have applied in the general steam in October 2013. My sponsor moved out of Manitoba recently. He lives in Ontario state now. He got his PR from Manitoba. Could you please let me know if I will still be eligible for the MPNP program?

A Manitoba Supporter must be:

able to provide documentation proving they reside and are established in Manitoba and have been living in the province continuously for at least one year (ex: copy of Manitoba Health Card)

a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (ex: copy of Permanent Resident Card)
able to demonstrate sufficiently close ties to the applicant and to Manitoba

able to demonstrate that any applications they previously supported resulted in successful, permanent economic establishment in Manitoba


In my own understanding. The Manitoba supporter should be working and living for at least 1 year. One of the reason applicant is being rejected if he/she has closer ties with other provinces in Canada.
