I don't see any problem. You may upload your existing passport and renew it once expired as it will be needed in the CIC process.

To add something here, I myself renewed my passport a few days after I had my medicals. When the PPR arrived, I filled in the new information of my passport on the Appendix A they attach with the email. So, it won't cause any problems even if you are already on CIC stage.

Just make sure when you receive your visa, they had input the correct information. In my case, they didn't notice that I have a new passport, they input the previous passport information on my visa and COPR and only gave me 3 months validity on my visa. I had to have it rectified in the end.

I'd just like to ask i just got a copy of my transcript of records from my school for my MPNP application.
I noticed my place of birth is wrong. somehow i dunno they got it wrong.
do you think that minor detail should be corrected or is it ok to upload the document in my online app?

i asked for my file application status from mpnp, mpnp now reply me that The application is placed in queue for pre-assessment. Once a decision has been made the applicant will receive notification in writing of the outcome.

Also, I'd like to ask, does Secondary Education mean from Grade 1 to 4th year High school? Do I and my dependents need to show school records from grade 1 to 4th year high school for secondary education and then also for post secondary including college?

Should I also upload the school documents of my kids one of whom just graduated from elementary and one graduated from high school? or does school records only concern me and my spouse?
