Congratulations! You have finally graduated and it's time to prepare for your new life. By the way, double check your visa and COPR. I noticed mine on the very same day I got it and I needed to have mine corrected.

By the way, once we have an MR, some documents are needed for health history. Is it really necessary to bring a medical certificate on a surgery i had 8years ago? I'm ok now, i just had my gallbladder removed. Also, do i need to bring my child's baby book to show the vaccinations he had when he was a baby (i lost it! ???) or verbalizations would suffice? I might sound too excited but i think it's better to be prepared earlier so as not to cause any delays. You see, i live in the province and the surgery and baby's vaccinations were done in Manila so if these docs are really necessary, i guess i have to ask someone in Manila to get med certificates from the hospitals. Any insights would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

I am not sure how many years back the clinic requires in regards to medical history. I believe it should be around 10 years, because I filled in a medical surgery I had in 2006 (had my medicals December 2013). I also had my gall bladder removed in December 2013, as it was recent, I also brought with me my medical certificates regarding this. You should bring in at least your discharge letter at that time or any certificate that states that you have a clean bill of health.

You are doing the right thing to be prepared as early as possible. It would be better if you can collect as much information on your child's vaccination and other health information. I am not sure if they will ask about all the vaccinations your child had (I am a single applicant) but you will definitely need these when you are going to enroll your child in school.

hi everyone! @forever victory congratulations to your application's latest achievement..LOA is about to come very soon. regarding my application I just want to share that MPNP has requested for another IELTS from me, but this time in GENERAL TRAINING only! the IELTS that i have submitted before was in academic since it is acceptable in the governing body of my profession, that was january 21 when i received their email. i have taken the IELTS general test, results will come out on the 28 of feb another stress for me since i have no idea yet if i will get the band result that i need. hopefully after i submit my result they will call my sponsor for an interview since they stated in the mail that i need to pass it on or before 20 of april otherwise a decision will be made to my application. my question is based on any forum mates experiences; does it happen before that after the IELTS result they will ask for any further supplementary documents (eq. bank statements, job description, etc..) because the thought of it frustrates me, it will be such a waste of time. where they could have included that in the previous mail. just thinking whether anyone here encounter this kind of dilemma. thanks! again congrats to everyone who can almost smell the wind of manitoba because of their applications progress! God bless everyone!

oh wow, i guess there is still a lot that needs to be done other than waiting ang staring at our ECAs. :D even the child's previous hospitalizations? How would they find out anyway if he got hospitalized due to pneumonia? Hehe i guess i have to bring him to his current pediatrician for a check up coz he used to have asthma attacks but it's been more than a year since his last episode. Just to check if he's perfectly fit now, right? Thanks so much for the help tabs. God bless you! :)

That's right, staring at our ECAS will only drive us crazy. End of the day, preparing for all these will help you to be as busy as possible and not obsessively check your email and ECAS. Better to have all whatever medical certification or documents you have for you and your family with you during your medicals.

Don't forget to check your spam mails, sometimes the AOR, MR and PPR do get lost in the inbox.

Hi ryan16tin,

I think it depends on the completeness of your submitted documents. If you applied online, it's easier to follow because you can not submit it if the attachments needed is not complete. In this case, relax, you should have it all in order aside from the IELTS results you need. I suggest you keep yourself busy so you won't get drained, it will still be a long road ahead. :-)

God bless your application!

Yay, thank you!!! Praise God! yeah, i already checked mine and no problem. My only concern though is the not valid for travel on my copr. Should i be worried or was that an error on them?

Nothing to worry about. Everyone's COPR is 'not valid for travel'. This means your COPR cannot represent as your passport, that means you require your COPR and passport with visa to travel to Canada.
