Just want to have your opinion. My daughter will be taking IELTS by March 8, but according to her LOA, documents should be sent to CIC until March 30. Is it ok if we send the documents without IELTS result and we just enclose letter stating that she will send the result upon availability? If so, do we need to wait for the VO office to ask for that document before sending it to them or we will send the IELTS result soon as it become available. Please guys, need your advise. Thanks a lot.
Also, is the IELTS result will be sent thru e-mail or by courier. If by e-mail, pls. advise us the e-mail address where we could send the document. Thanks again, guys

In regards to your query about the IELTS, it is best that you submit the other documents to CIC already, and just show them proof, i.e. receipt showing date of examination of IELTS, that she has taken the examination or will be taking it. CIC will already understand that it takes time to get a result.

Once you get the AOR, I suggest to send the copy of the result to the designated embassy, rather than wait for them to require it, this is so that you can avoid further delay. I believe you should send a copy by courier, but you could also scan it and send via email so that they can expect the copy by courier. Your AOR will be sent by email, that is the address you will use as well.

so, Should i bring the prof of available funds($10,000) at the port of entry when i first arrive in Canada or don't need those funds anymore and I can use them??

Hey everyone. Checked my status online and it says a decision has been made on your application. The office will contact u concerning this decision. What do they mean by contact? Also, I received my PPR January 29,2014 submitted my passport a week later.

BTW, I would like to congratulate the ever helpful Ms. Tabs on her visa.

What date did the e-cas changed to "Decision Made"?

So happy, but the expiration of my visa is 8 May 2014, why is that? I thought it is based on the medicals?

yes it is valid but if you are born in India after 1989 it is mandatory to have birth certificate.

before 1987 - contact to your nearest Municipality office from your birth place, they will direct issue your DOB certificate

after 1987 - Contact to any nearest notary, they will short it out


it takes maximum 10 to 15 days

i have same problem in Gujarat/India so shared you experience

Wow Tabs179, share your landing exp. Hhaha. Mine is in trafick. My letter I sent to manilimmigration @ international.gc.ca still no response yet as of this time. EXCEPT confirmation letter that they rcvd my letter to CEM. Ummmmm share forum mates those have any idea.
