Hello Members,

I have been sad for a while about my MPNP and that is why i have been quiet on this forum. Sometime in late November 2013 (I am a May applicant) i got a letter of inegibility from MPNP. First, MPNP stated that i did not include IELTS with my application and second, for proof of family ties with my sponsor in Manitoba, i was told that my mother-in-law birth certificate did not include the names of both parents (my wife is the principal applicant). Based on the two, i am not eligible for the programme.

Don't worry Maikudi, it's not yet the end of the world you will be surprised at how many members in the forum have experienced the same in the past. I for one was deemed ineligible on 2010 by the FSW, my time was wasted (also the money and the 3x IELTS exam :'( ) but like most of us we still held on to our dream and try to do it better the next time. I'm sure you will get another chance since you can re-apply right away in MPNP. God has plans for everyone of us ;D

I agree with canadadreamer...reapply again...tell your wife to take the ielts exams and if there is really no documents that can prove the relationship declare it as distant relative and it will fall under general stream (even a friend can endorse sp2) You can even try to consult a lawyer and ask how you can prove the relationship and have it notarize.

This is just a suggestion don't give up your dreams

My wife (principal applicant) has taken the IELTS exam with a score of 8.0 and we are trying to proof our relationship very well with our sponsor in Manitoba with more concrete documents. My problem now is my bank statement. Is it possible for me to show my joint account with my brother? as i have spent the money of my joint account with my wife. What do you advise?

Joint account is not acceptable unless they are for the principal applicant and their spouse (who is an independent).

No other joint account is acceptable. While you are gathering documents, complete the funds also required.

CAN ANYONE HELP ANSWER THIS QUESTION. WHAT SHOULD I WRITE UNDER QUESTION 4 OF ECONOMIC CLASSES REGARDING FUNDS
Indicate the amount of unencumbered (by debts or obligations) transferable and available funds you have in Canadian dollars.

is this amount the same as the amount indicated in the online application? suppose i included my property as proof of funds, should i still include the amount of this property under this question or just the available cash i indicated in the application.

I suppose you applied through mail that is why your AOR took so long to come. Based on my analysis of our time sheet of all applicants, those who applied by mail and then receive their AOR after several months will definitely take a longer processing time. To my understanding, the date you received your AOR is the date when MPNP start processing your application and not the time you submitted in January 2013. This is based on my own analysis only, I might be wrong.

I hope we get our LOA very soon. We need to extend our patience more.

Yes, I noticed that too in our timeline. Only applications under FS are moving. I hope MPNP will start processing GS applicants this week.

just confused to all the applicants who have their Visa like FORZA2013, MECHANICAL.NURSING,LHOBCEMEA and ANABANANA..all of them are FS applicants how about GS applicants?anybody in 2013 GS applicants who has their VISA?
