Most likely if visa be granted we will all be flying before summer time and it will be a good time we might occupy the whole plane hahaahha...

I am a frequent visitor to this discussion forum and just registered to actively participate in your discussions. I want to use this opportunity to commend all of you for sharing so much information among yourselves which is so helpful to your members and none members alike.

Like Forever Victory: My interest in Canada dates back to 2006, However with the enactment of the Jobs, Growth and long term prosperity act - Backlog Elimination, I decided to apply to MPNP in August.

To Forever Victory, I want to find out some information regarding your previous applications (FSW) before MPNP. Did Forever victory receive a letter from CIC that his Application has been eliminated? Has he received his applications fees back? Has his online Status with the previous application seize to display online and if it does, what is the Status?

Yes, i received a termination letter from CIC this year and applied for refund last July 4, 2013, but up to now, I am still waiting for the refund of my application fees. My Ecas is still in place but the information already deleted, only my name and home address are reflected, the rest are blank.

I am looking for answers to certain questions which still baffles me in my previous application. My application still exist Online without any comment on the Status. I have tried to contact Canadian High commission in charge of my area and they ask me to request for a refund for application fees, which I did and no reply from them since january 2013.

Same situation as you, did you write FSW refund to follow up? I really don't know what is causing the delay. My Ecas is the same as yours.


Is it all the applications before 2008 that were eliminated? If some applications before 2008 are still left, like the ones that Decision was made in 2012. what will happens to those applications?

Those applicants with decision made reflected in their Ecas have a good chance of getting PR. A lotof applicants have joined the class action lawsuit and is now elevated to the Federal Court of Appeal in Canada. The hearing process is also taking a long time. I did not join the class action lawsuit.


I am sorry for asking too many questions, its just some concerns that keeps bothering my mind. I will be very grateful if you can share some light on this issues if you have some information on them. Thank You and God Bless you all.

Nice to know that there is somebody like me in this forum, meaning a pre 2008 FSW backlog applicant. Please see my answers in between your quotes.

Yah most of all ahead from us they are preaparing to move in the same month. After school yr end and it is to much expensive tickets in this holiday seasons.

I read about sponsorship issue in MPNP official website. About the "RESULT OF CASE", I am trying to look for the exact word but unable to find it.

In MPNP application kit, it is stated that in Family Stream, " The MPNP reserves the right to determine that the endorsement of a settlement plan is invalid if the program officer is not satisfied that: 1st:...., 2nd:...., 3rd: any previous applicants from MPNP supported by your close relative have established themselves successfully in Manitoba. In my view, anytime that the previous MPNP applicants supported by your close relative has established himself like having a stable job, has own place to live-in..... then, the supporter can start sponsoring again.

For General Stream, I think it is the same. There is no clear statement from MPNP about the conditions for sponsoring again under GS, all they stated is "a sponsor is not currently supporting the settlement of another MPNP applicant, nominee or person in another Canadian Immigration Program".

anybody in manitoba can sponsor you.. provided u can prove some sort of a relation eg friend.

sponsor should be a citizen or pr holder nd a resident of manitoba fr the last 1 year....

Who are ‘eligible dependants?

adult children between the ages of 18 and 25 who are:
- not married or in a common-law relationship
- not financially independent due to a physical or mental condition
- pursuing full-time academic, professional or vocational training

(Children who do not meet these conditions but want to move to Manitoba with you may submit their own application, at the same time as you, and indicate they are connected to your application.)

No problem about those conditions stated because they met all of those.I just don't know where to indicate.I hope somebody could help.

1) My spouse is HR. What is the scope for him.
