Hi Everyone,

I was reviewing our application timeline and I noticed most of those GS applicants with LOA are either I.T. professionals or from the Federal Skilled Trade profession.

Now I am beginning to understand that MPNP prioritize applications of certain occupation or profession.

Please let me know if I got it right.

Also, today December 1, 2013 marks my 8 years and 3 months of waiting and hoping for the day to come for me to be able to live and work in Canada. I am feeling the agony of waiting again.

God willing the approval will be anytime now. God willing.

i some what agree with you,, FV but how does it explain our predicament ,,, MLT is in demand and a Federal Skilled Trade profession ,, but still i havnt heard a thing from them,,, no interview ,,, no additional docs requested..... so no hard and fast rule applied,,,

hi guys,, finally things get moving,,, hope MPNP steps on the gas now,,,

i want to ask this from our seniors,, how does one know the loa is going to be sent to the applicant or the sponsor,,
are they both going to get one copy each,,, two frnds of mine wrote the mailing address of their hometowns in india,, but in one case sponsor got the LOA,,, and in the other received it at his home, how to know this, for sure,,?

When you filled out the online application there is a portion that ask you where do you want your mailing address. When you click question mark beside that it say the it is recommended to use your sponsor address for fast transaction. But you can use your own address. Just my two cents.

Hi Sheldor,

I agree, MLT is in demand as reflected in the 24 in demand profession list released last May 4, 2013 under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) stream, the same goes to more than 50 Federal Skilled Trade professions. I suppose the FSW in demand profession list applies to majority of the provinces or Canada in general with shortage of such profession, and maybe and probably Manitoba does not have shortage of MLT as compared to other provinces, although I am not sure, but if you search for MLT job opening in the Canada Job Bank, it only has very few job opening in MB.

Still, may God Bless our application and may we have a happy, cheerful and blessed Christmas. Have faith that everything will work out perfectly fine in His time.

guys, especially seniors i need some help, mpnp called my sponsor but she was not at home at the time (thursday). They left a voice mail instructing her to return call the next day. she did returned the call but all she got was an answering machine so she left a message. it was friday then, would mpnp call her back on monday?

If i sent ilets on january with my cio application ( regarding its validity expire on 18 feb2014)
That ilets would be valid once they receive my file after 2 days DHL shippment
Or it must be valid till they send AOR which i think takes around one month from receiving ?!
