General Stream

File Sent and AOR- Oct 18th 2013
File Number - Oct 19th 2013
SP2 sent- Oct 18th 2013
AOR SP2 - Oct 21st 2013.

Now what?? :)

Did you guys send the last 3 or 6 months bank statements? An acquaintance of mine - Exploratory Visit Stream - was requested the last 3 months and not 6 (as stated on the MB Gov site). That's why I only sent the last 3 months. Does anyone else did the same?
My supporter is my boyfriend...I am wondering if it has any impact on the timeline frame.

Thanks!

Hi lisizi,

MPNP Timeline added. Click the link below to view the tracking sheet for batch 2013.

Please provide missing info :
What is the intended occupation for principal applicant?

Thanks

Hi,

Not everyone receives confirmation for SP2. Don't worry, your sponsor has mastered his role considering you're the eight person he has helped for the year. :)

By the way, pls refrain from using our own language (at least for this thread), so others may understand. :)

Blessing to us!!!
Thank you so much for the respond.. :) i hope my application will have a positive outcome soon.. by the way, my sponsor told me that he is worried for my application, coz he's friend who is sponsoring someone received a letter that he exceeded for the number of allowed sponsorship in a year..after the 8th applicant.. Is there a limit for sponsorship?

Thanks for adding me on the tracking sheet! :D

PS: i just checked the tracking sheet. So ppl who sent the application in MAY haven't received ANY updates yet. WOW! It's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait!

Hi! Just a question on the SP2. Is it okay that the applicant will live with someone else and not the sponsor? The applicant has a cousin in winnipeg but undortunately is sponsoring some else. Now, a friend is willing to sponsor. Is that okay to state in the SP2, that the living arrangements will be with the cousin and not with the sponsor?

I am not familiar about the number of sponsorship allowed in a year. What I know is that, the sponsor is also being assessed in his capacity/stability to sponsor applicants. You can pray for your application. Don't worry too much. We can just wait for result and hope for the best. :)

Hello

I just would like to ask for any opinions. I and my husband have just recently applied for MPNP. I am the principal applicant and my hubby and my son are my dependents.

I am a Computer Programmer and my husband is a licensed Electrical Engineer here in the Philippines. We're both 30 years old. We have been working for around 10 years already (straight). We took our IELTS last January and the CLB equivalents are: mine is CLB 9 and his is between CLB 7 and 8.

I have an aunt in Winnipeg who is already a PR for 2 years and she's the one who endorsed our settlement plan. We have also demonstrated enough funds (around CND$ 20K - savings account, stocks certificate, and certification from current employer of the minimum separation pay to be received from the company).

What are the chances of our application to be approved or for us to be nominated. And if we may be nominated, how long does it normally take for an application to be nominated.

Thank you and I do hope for an enlightenment on the matter.

hey guys,

Is there a cap of 5000 applications per year in MPNP?

if yes , then is there a way 2 find out how may slots are still open in 2013?

Hello All,

I would just like to ask what would be the Requirements for someone to be able to sponsor a friend to go to Manitoba?
I know that he have to be a PR or Citizen min. for a year. Does he have to be earning a specific amount before he can sponsor? My wife has a friend in Winnipeg working in min. salary who is willing to help.

thank you in advance. :D

It seems you have enough points in getting nominated, but there is really no guarantee. All applications are of different cases. Additionally, MPNP has changed the requirements and processing method.

Before this new system, online applications usually take 6 months on average. Again, all applications are of different cases. It really depends on the immigration officer.

Good Luck!
