Hi Zig, My sponsor sent the Settlement plan 2 last October 9,2013 and sent a revised Settlement plan 2 last October 14,2013 because there was a mistake on the 1st copy of settlement plan. May i know how long does it usually take before my sponsor can receive a confirmation of receipt for the SP2? Thank you!:)

from my reading on Manitoba website and following senior members' comments. I believe that your sponsor won't be able to start your sponsorship until his/ her relative comes to Manitoba. Then, he/ she can start sponsor you
Oh thats a bad news for me:( but i asked my agency and they told me that my sponsor can still sponsor me because the other person they sponsored was approved by the MPNP and just processing their PR visa now. I am really confused. I thought as long as the other person they sponsored was approved by MPNP then they can sponsor me already. I already submitted my application last Sept 21 and my Sp2 By Oct 14. Im so worried and nervous now of what kind of mail i will receive ??? I hope not an eligibility letter:( i hope they will give consideration and just wait for the other person sponsored to arrive in manitoba before they can process my application if thats the rule but not an eligibility letter because that will be very painful :'( Thank you for your reply. I hope to get more advise on this.

I cannot answer your queries, but if they write a letter to you regarding not being eligible, don't worry. Just wait till your sponsor is ready to be a sponsor again and re-apply. Don't lose hope, I was rejected 2x, because of lack of enough documentations.

Thank you very much for the kind words. Did you receive the eligibility letter just few weeks after your date of submission or it took few months? Thank

The first application took a while because it was a postal application (2010). That took 9 months. Second application was online and I got a response in 3 months, stating that I was not eligible. Both applications were under FS, and they only accepted full time work. I worked part-time and they are not counting it as equivalent to full time (ex. 2 years of part time = 1 year of full time). I had 4.5 years of part time, but they didn't agree. So, I tried GS this year and got myself an LOA finally. Try and try, I say.

Thank you very much for adding me:) I am the principal applicant and my intended occupation is as a nurse and my common-law partner is a Mechanical Engineer but since both occupations are regulated we can work in other related occupations while waiting to be licensed in Manitoba.

Hi Jude168,

MPNP Timeline Updated.

Thanks

Wow, congratulations on your LOA. After trying and trying finally you succeeded. I wish you all the best. I hope i can get LOA also. I hope they can give consideration in my case like they can just wait for the other person to arrive there that my sponsor sponsored then they can process my application. If i need to wait for that person to arrive in Manitoba first then my IELTS will expire and need to take it again. We need a lot of patience. Thank you for your reply

What is the meaning of Work Experience as per Canada Immigration, i mean to say full time or part time, explain?

My advice is to prepare yourself for another IELTS exam (CLB 4 or 5 is not a big dea)
