Hi everyone! New here.

I would just like to ask if the 2 years work experience is still a necessity prior to applying?

I will have 2 years experience this December 2013 but I was wondering if I can already process my application? I used the self assessment tool and scored 78.

Yes! You are on point...required work experience starts from one year full time job. U can start ur application if other documentations are in place. Gud luck

i am yet to apply this week for mpnp under GS..(my dad's friend). he has recently accepted an offer and joined a university in ontario but he says that he can still sign our sp2. his family will stay there .. and the family will either move in dec or in june 2014. in this scenario..if we apply thn what are the chances ? as he says that his wife n children are still manitoba resident. he has only moved to ontario for job

I think he could sign ur SP2 when he was in Mb..but now his wife can sign ur SP2 may be he can't as he has moved n sooner the whole family wud move as well ..dis gives -ve impression of ur intention to settel in Mb when ur sponsor himself has setteled sum where else.. hope u got the point

I don't think you should worry.. I am certain all the applications are being attended to. A new information I have is that I also just got a call from the MPNP officer about an hour ago to provide an additional document by Friday and I have emailed them that the document cannot be ready by Friday this week but next week Tuesday. This was not mentioned to my sponsor or myself before the sponsor interview. Now that is upside down... One would assume that any additional document would be demanded before my sponsor interview.

Normally, I was worried, but then again one shouldn't.. Keep hoping

Question, how long will they do an interview to my sponsor in Winnipeg? My auntie is the one who sponsored me, I asked her but still got no reply from her yet. I asked, just in case, somebody have an idea on this. Surely, I will call my aunt one of these days, I'm thinking she's busy nowadays.
