Some questions...

Can somebody please answer my queries ... i am too confused...

1) First of all I wanted to know if i would be allowed to show GOLD in my Net Worth? And if I am, then how is it shown...? Sale receipts or evaluation certificate or sumthing??

2) I have two brothers residing in Canada ... one in Manitoba and other in Ontario Does this fact weaken my case? ... In my settlement Plan, How am i supposed to assure them that I will be staying in Manitoba ...

3) Also I am planning to get Married soon ... If I apply for Nomination before marriage and after getting the nomination when i apply for Visa ... would I be able to Include my spouse or would there be a problem? ... If YES ... Then, How long will I have to wait after landing there, before applying for my Spouse???

Please ... Help me ... :'(

I am not quite sure about this, but i think you have to finish first the program before you can apply for MPNP, or you can apply also with Canadian Class Experience.

MPNP is coming up with new point system for all applicants, except those currently working in Manitoba with valid work permits, will be assessed according to a new points system.

Dear Guys,

Need your assistance whether to fill this form or not in CIC application

"Statutory Declaration of Common-law Union [IMM 5409] " and it has to be singed by Oath Commissioner. I am married and have marriage certificate, is this common-law Union refers to marriage?

So May I need to fill this form despite having marriage certificate?

Awaiting for your kind help

Regards

Mian

Interesting. Any information on the need to prove or take a test for your second language ? In the old system it said only a test for the first language was required. But now I'm not so sure.

If I compare the old and the new system, I would think that they increased the weight of the education, the rest remains +- the same ?

Another "suspicious" or "weird" part of the description, is: On April 1, Manitoba is streamlining the MPNP — making a simpler, SUPPORTED path to our province for skilled immigrants.
What might be the significance of the word 'supported' ?

Thank you for sharing this link !

Hi Mianatee,

NO you do not need to fill that out, your marriage certificate is good enough. Common Law if for persons who have not gotten married but live together and have a long term relationship.

regards

@ Digits ... I was wondering the same thing...what does supported mean...I have no relatives/friends in Manitoba but wanted to apply for the exploratory visit, they have however stopped that program for now......I am wondering if this means they will no longer be offering that strategic Initiative stream at all after April 1st.
