Here's an update to my time line guys:

Online Application Submitted: March 7, 2013
AOR: March 8, 2013
SP2: March 18, 2013
Additional Document Requested by MPNP: June 18, 2013
Submitted Lacking Docs: June 24, 2013
Confirmation of Received Doc: June 26, 2013
Sponsor interview: Aug 16, 2013
Requested for a detailed job description over the phone with my aunt but they send me email about it on Aug 17, 2013
Submitted the required document/email: Aug 19, 2013 (deadline was supposedly on August 21, 2013, I submitted earlier)
MPNP Officer replied for confirmation of received email: Aug 20, 2013

Now,, waiting for result. Crossing fingers! ^^

Hi guys, anybody knows an applicant who's sponsor or themselves did not have any calls or interview and yet received LOA? Because I wonder if every applicant does have an interview by the mpnp.

I read it here in our thread, someone posted that her/his sponsor was not interviewed and she / he received the LOA.

I have another question ,,, father inlaw is close relative right??? In application there were no option of father inlaw so I choose father just want to confirm as I already submit my apllicatiin

its okay, what you have write in that section,

dont worry, you have to wait now,
your father in law will be receiving an email from MPNP that
they have received your documents/SP2, and will be uploaded accordingly.

CONGRATULATIONS! You are indeed so lucky, considering you are on General stream yours are so fast. Would you mind what did you write in your intended occupation? Cause I think they consider it who goes first.

Hi Everyone,

The processing in Canada is taking real slow. Probably we should explore on other options like in Australia. May I share to all of you what I read.

You may visit the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) website of Australia and explore on State Nomination or what they call Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 Visa. It is less complicated but also points system, at least 60 points in order to qualify. As soon as you get nominated in a particular state, you can then apply for permanent residency. My colleague only waited 3 months to be nominated by New South Wales, now her application for PR including her entire family is now with DIAC and they need to wait for only 6-8 months processing time to get the approval.

Hope the above will help all of us. Australia is a lot less populated compared to Canada.
