Yes, that is so true, the key to this waiting game is to prepare ourselves instead for upcoming requirements that will or may be asked from us, such as keeping healthy (regular exercise & healthy diet), coz i just learned from an applicant (VO is in Manila - CEM), that she failed her medical results due to her diabetes (she was overweight & has hypertension). I feel i need to go for a lab test in advance to see how my health is now before it's too late..

Also, one of our forum mates just shared with us here that he was asked for employment offer in Canada & work description, so i guess it's good that we scout around now for possible employment, and also making sure we have sufficient funds to be shown in our bank certificates later on (as what was also asked from one applicant here (SGVO)... These things will keep us busy in the meantime.

Dear all,

Yes, agreed with KindredHeart. Its important to stay healthy and be optimistic before the medical test. Especially drink more water a couple of hours before go for the test.

If you browse some of the forum "medical test", there are plenty of advice on staying healthy for the test. Most important, rest well, drink more water..... exercise to keep your body healthy is important too.

And please stated if you have past history of operation ( any kind of operation) or any family history, it is ok to let the doctor whom attend to you know.

Cheers!

Hi Ivanlee,

Thanks for sharing your timeline with us.

I believe very soon you will received your Nomination Letter and you need to start preparing all the required documents stated in the checklist for PR application.

Don't worries, in the Nomination Letter, there are instruction stated clearly how to proceed for next steps.

Hope the above info helps!

Hi All,

Hereby I am sharing my experience so far and need your valuable advice.

My status got change as “Assessment Completed” on dt: 6th Aug’2014 and I have not received decision letter yet. I raised the query to MPNP for the same and after 2 week I received reply that they already sent letter on Dt 13th Aug’14 and it may take almost 2 month to reach me at my India address. If I will not received on or before 13th Oct’14 then I have contact them back with current address of my supporter and they will send letter to him, later it is his responsibility to transit this letter in to my place.

Now I had discussion with my other cousin and he agreed to take letter from MPNP office personally and I sent authorization letter to MPNP via e-mail. So far, I have not received any reply from MPNP.

Questions:-

1) As I explained that they asked for my supporter address but I provide authorization letter on the name of my other cousin; will they consider this or not?

2) I asked my cousin to send letter via email once received and I will late print but he said that MPNP will send some sticker with letter which I have to past on my packet; I have not heard this before in this form, is it true?

3) My all other documents are already ready and my cousin want me to courier it to him and he will make packet on my behalf and send it across further. Is it fine?

Thanks for your patinas to read my query and waiting for your positive answer.

Hi All,

Hereby I am sharing my experience so far and need your valuable advice.

My status got change as “Assessment Completed” on dt: 6th Aug'2014 and I have not received decision letter yet. I raised the query to MPNP for the same and after 2 week I received reply that they already sent letter on Dt 13th Aug'14 and it may take almost 2 month to reach me at my India address.

- Hello, Satindsi. When did you send the authorization letter to MPNP? I'm asking because it may take time for them to reply, considering that they already instructed you to give them the address of your supporter.. Probably, the reason why they asked for your sponsor's address and have your sponsor mail to you the letter, is for them to determine and also be assured of how strong your ties or relationship with your sponsor is, since they are the ones who will help you in your settlement, as stated in their SP2. This is just what came up in my mind as i analyzed your situation, because the relationship between you and your supporter is also a determining factor in their decision. Since there is no way for us to foresee the discretionary decision of the immigration officer handling your case, as to whether they'll consider your decision to authorize your cousin instead of your supporter, it's best that you write or call MPNP & ask them if it is ok.. Maybe yet, ask your cousin to go to MPNP & ask them himself, just to make sure. Just my thoughts.

2) I asked my cousin to send letter via email once received and I will late print but he said that MPNP will send some sticker with letter which I have to past on my packet; I have not heard this before in this form, is it true? This is true. The small green sticker is needed for you to send your application package (containing all the forms..), and it will be pasted on your envelope. This is like a color coding system MPNP use to segregate each application as it arrives in their office. Without your green sticker, your package will be lost in the flood of mails they receive everyday & will cause delay.

3) My all other documents are already ready and my cousin want me to courier it to him and he will make packet on my behalf and send it across further. Is it fine? - Some applicants do that, sending their application through their authorized representative. This is indicated in the form that you submitted.

Thanks for your patinas to read my query and waiting for your positive answer.

@ Ivanlee: To update your timeline in your profile, You have to go to your profile and select Forum Profile Information under Modify Profile. Note that this feature will only show after you have been actively posting in the forum (at least 10 posts - I think... if I remember it correctly). ;D
