My sponsor was interviewed on 26th may 2014 and my satus is still in proces....They requested additional documents after interview(new bank statement and 3 month bank history) I send them in the required time but until now nothing new.....I am worried too but I really hope that soon our status will change to complete.....we must be patient and calm although it is really difficult...

Medicals Done, e-medical form filled today by the clinic...hopefully CIC Nairobi will received the results by early next week..

My LOA was received by my uncle in MB few days ago! Dated July 31, 2014!

By the way. is anyone here already filling up their CIC Application package? I'm having a hard time typing my data because some of my answers are long and I think the adobe reader has its text limit. I don't know what to do. can someone pls help me regarding this matter?

Which form you are filling and where exactly you are facing problem.

I can really understand your situation even all of us trap in waiting game but stages are different for all.
Some waiting for change in status, some waiting for LOA, some waiting for acknowledgement, some for medical and etc....and it will never end.
If I would get myself in you situation then believe me I could not face it. I don't have much patient.
But your turn will come....that is sure

I am in 100% agreement with you. We all are in some or other juncture of waiting. Dear it is a game of waiting. And the beauty is we can't do anything but to write to MPNP or CIC and than again waiting. It boost our frustration level. Even after reaching we can't do much but to wait for a Job which is again becoming difficult day by day.

So keep on waiting and wait for God's time.

She told me to start preparing everything for cic and gave me the details, i saw that there's a medical requirements, i have TB scar, had TB back in 2000. I need to know if i must still continue my application or it is ground for rejection? Thanks a lot!

Please go ahead with application if TB is cured or in process of being cured or will be cured. that i think cant hinder ur application but always say the truth when asked about ur medical history in ur application. Thanks.

Can u use it or get another one?

Hi donot be confused. Police clearance means that you donot have any case pending against you or your past is clean . It can be used any where. CIC have not mentioned anywhere that Police clearance should have a noting " for Canadian Visa" Just send your PC as it is. I also have sent it as it is.

Hi RB12! As you indicated in your profile that your visa office is CEM, I assumed that you're from Philippines. And for Filipinos, when CIC says police clearance, it meant the NBI clearance. Police clearance issued in the Philippines is for local purposes only (e.g. employment within the country), while NBI clearance is for international requirement.

And, when you apply for NBI clearance, mention that the purpose is for "Visa Canada".

Be as concise or short on your answer, but if you really require more spaces on some questions, you could just leave them blank for the meantime and try to fill-up the form as much as you can, then print it. After printing, you are allowed to hand write your answers to the questions you left blank.

Reminder on the "Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]", you need to generate the barcode first before printing.
