Please after submitting bank statements along with your application, can you spend the money in the account OR you have to leave the money in the bank intact until you receive nomination?

Hi kingskid,

As far as I know the Money should be in your account until you land in Canada.

You may withdraw some amount during the whole process but I suggest that the average daily Balance should not fall below the required amount that is CA $ 10K + CA $ 2K for each dependent.

Therefore, if you and your spouse have 1 child, my Suggestion is ADB in your account should be not less than CA $ 14K.

With this you are not giving them a reason to disapprove your application based on the financial requirement.

Thank you! :)

Good luck!

Hopefully, pachochay. I've already resigned from work so I'm very available now. Yes, I will be in Manila next week and was scheduled to attend CIIP on may28-29. I also plan to attend COA, no schedule yet though.

I've read you will fly in October, hopefully we get to meet up there.

By the way, is there anyone here who will attend the CIIP on may28-29? Kita kits! :D

Yes, October plan namin kasi uwi muna sandali Pinas. Kita-kits sa Manitoba:-)

Dear frds,
Application status changed from Received to Assessment pending ...

Hi,

First, the link that you've got is erroneous. The one I posted before is a li'l bit different from what you've got. Besides, CIC has modified their website recently. Here's a new link to help you.. :)

wXw.jobbank.gc.ca/content_pieces-eng.do?cid=202
wXw.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/work/wic-tool.asp

Work on EXPLORE CAREERS and you will know exactly if your intended occupation is regulated or not in Manitoba.

Cheers!

Thank you very much for your reply.

The thing is I have just put X on the link you provided because this forum does not allow me to post link.

Now, I have gone through all these sites.

For example, I went to this website below

wXw.cic.gc.ca/english/newcomers/work/wic-tool.asp (I have just put one X because this forum does not allow me to post link)

This site has EXPLORE CAREER. I have put "accountant" as occupation and Winnipeg, Manitoba as location on EXPLORE CAREER. And pressed search button which ultimately led me to the following website

wXw.jobbank.gc.ca/report-eng.do?lang=eng&noc=1111&area=11326&titleKeyword=accountant&regionKeyword=Winnipeg,Manitoba&source=cic&action=final (Just put one X because this forum does not allow me to post link)

Now how do you find whether my intended occupation is regulated or not from this^ above JOBBANK website?

Also, This following website tells to go to JOBBANK website. Again in JOBBANK website I put "accountant" as occupation and Winnipeg, Manitoba as location can and hit the search button but still I can not find any line, word that tells whether my INTENDED OCCUPATION is regulated or not.

wXw.jobbank.gc.ca/content_pieces-eng.do?cid=202 (Watch out for X)

Please reply. Thanks in Advance...

The FINANCIAL AUDITORS AND ACCOUNTANTS (NOC 1111) are Regulated in Manitoba:

Here is the link that you can check the information, and all Regulatory Bodies that can certify this:

http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/report-eng.do?area=11326&lang=eng&noc=1111&action=final&ln=p&regionKeyword=Winnipeg%2C+Manitoba&s=3&source=0&titleKeyword=accountant#RegulatedOccupation

Hope that help you!!!
