Congrats!!

I don't know about the 'FBI'... Should be yours criminal records I think... depending of your living country. Does it have more requirements, about criminal records or related subject?

They asked for two items in the email-

1. Medical for the applicant and my deep dents
2. FBI clearance for me and my husband

Mg husband and I are both Filipinos, applied in Manila CIC. He's a seaman too. We had 6 months availmeby of tourist visa in the US back in 2007. I'm not sure if they are referring to these.

Or unless anyone of you guys who received already Medical and Police Clearance request if it really only says 'FBI Clearance' as generic term for police clearance. We did submit our NBI last Feb 2014...and unless they only mean update of NBI. I'm confused. Help. Thanks.

Hi champwin, since you lived in the US for six months in the past, then FBI is correct. You need to provide CEM your FBI clearance. You can go back to the CIC checklist guidelines, it stated there that you need to provide police clearance in a country which you resided for at least 6 months.

Congrats and stay healthy!

Thanks Isaiahchase and hopefully it will continue to move fast until I get my PPV. I've waited longer than most of the Manila applicants, so I think it's my time now. God willing, I'd like to fly by june or July. :-)

Thanks for yet another useful sharing. So timely for me as we just attended today CIIP (online only for provincial nominees here in Dubai). MAP will be on Friday, online also.
Is Manitoba Entry program then an "expanded" version of both CIIP +
COA combined?

It is more the expanded version of COA not CIIP.

The expanded version of CIIP is actually the Manitoba Head Start. But once you get here, you will realized it is more. So, it is really worth it to keep on attending all these free seminars. It won't hurt, it is after all free. ;) ;) ;)

See you here in Winnipeg soon then. PM me if you want to keep in touch.

hi gusto o lang po iconfirm if ung SP2 ba, kami mismo ang mgpapadala s supporter?

another question po regarding proof of funds, is the required amount needs to be in the bank account for at least 6 months or ung mismong bank account lang ang dapat at least 6 months? iba iba po kasi naririnig ko.

last question, is 600k pesos enough for a main applicant & 2 dependants as the proof of funds?

thanks in advance.

cheers! :)

Hi,

First, pls refrain from using our native language here. This is not a Filipino forum only.

Re SP2, it should be your sponsor who should fill that out. The moment you submit your online application package, MPNP shall email your sponsor and will ask him to submit SP2 along with other docs they require from him.

Your bank account should be at least 6 months old. It is better of course to have your Proof of Funds intact for 6 months. If you have 2 dependents, you need at least $14,000 CA to reach their mark. In some cases like mine, I had the required fund deposited for like 3 months before I sent them my apps and I got LOA. It is always your call anyway.

Cheers!

We applicants need to provide Police Certificates for every country where we stayed for at least 6 months. This is why they ask you of your FBI, and they really mean FBI here. The Generic term they use is Police Certificate. Also, you said you just submitted your NBI last Feb..so I believe there's no point in requiring you an updated one since they consider that valid for 6 months.

Here's the link to help you get your FBI.. :)

Hello 02clar3nc3 :)

I'll take your word for it, Tabs. If the mantra in CIIP (me hang-over pa, lol) is......preparation, preparation, preparation!......mine would be now......attend, attend, attend! :-)) Hope to see you in Winnipeg in October. By the way, how useful is Linkedin in finding a job there? Advance question for your next blog:-) Please keep them coming, truly helpful. Cheers!
