Got my LOA today with the issue dating the 17th jan 2014..

Congratulations tabs179 on the receipt of your PPR! I thank GOD on your behalf...
No need to include the sad face on your update dear..I had my Medicals done November 29th, 2013 and up till now no PPR... So I think Manilla visa office is really working real fast... Congratulations again!

Thanks. Yes, we are quite luck here in Manila.

But NBI Clearance is very slow. Especially if we are a 'hit'. It means that we share a name with someone and further investigation is required.
This takes around 3 weeks for us to get our NBI clearance. And my last experience there was terrible because around 600-700 people are getting their clearance/day. It took me a whole day.

Just a small hurdle, and getting there. The only thing to do is comply.

Finally my documents are in CIC, hoping that everything is ok and i will get AOR, how long should i wait.

Give it around 30 days (-/+5 days).

Thanks. I guess only Filipinos truly understands the difficulties of getting an NBI clearance. It's so much easier to renew passports here now.

Yes, only one more step to the final wait. It's like I already reached the semi-finals to the Canada Got Talent 2014.

Dont have an idea how am i going to update my son on my dependant.
im confused as to what office am i going to send supporting documents of my son.
dont know if its on NOva scotia or My visa office in manila.

Hi tabs! I think it's in the news that you can register online in getting your nbi then have it printed then bring it with you, sad to say you have to wake up early as we all know how long is the waiting in getting nbi..

Question1: You do not require to state your salary to MPNP, so you won't need this.
Question2: The duties are required and therefore should be either on the EC or your official contract of employment.

Hi there!

For question #2 If currently employed with the company, you can request a copy of your job description to your HR. Companies do usually issue job description to their employees. In my experience, they won't give me new copy of my job description in my previous employment, since I am no longer connected with them.but God is good that the HR is kind enough to furnish me a photocopy of my job description ..
