Guys, I'm writing after a long time..

I applied under General stream on 25 January 2013. I've submitted all the required documents at the same time.

I received an AOR on 04 August 2013 (dated 07 July 2013) but after that no more correspondence from CIC. Even my Sponsor didn't receive any interview call.

Its really a long wait for me. Any idea how long it takes to get the LOA??

Thanks. I look forward to your suggestions/views.. :)

You do not get your LOA from CIC, you get it from MPNP.

Okay. Thanks for confirming this.

Thanks a lot 02clar3nc325. I checked the link and it shows that most applicants who send their applications on the same month that we did are still waiting for the LOA from MPNP. Thanks....

Kindly post your Timeline so I could include it in the Tracking Sheet for Batch 2013.

Dear All,

I am separated and my annulment with my spouse is currently on-going. From the usual lenghty court proceedings, i may get the decision later at the 3rd or 4th quarter of this year. Assuming that the processing of MPNP is 6 months, counting from my submission date, MPNP will have my LOA sent by March. And in case successful, what documents will i send to CIO as a proof or supporting documents that I am separated? I have removed my spouse as benficiary to my insurances since 3rd qtr of 2012. Will this document be useful too?

Seltic

I am quite confused with your question. You sent your application to CIC for an MPNP application? Or you already have an LOA from MPNP and have submitted your application to CIC?

Sorry for the confusion. We send it online to MPNP and not to CIC. My mistake. I apologize.

Maybe I need to itemize also my answers:

1. Have you written to MPNP about it?
Yes, awaiting their reply

2. When did your supporter's relatives apply?
I think within 4thQ of 2013. Actually this is their 2nd application already. Their first attempt was denied.

3. Did MPNP interview your supporter already? If yes, what did your supporter say?
The program officer already left a message through my supposed sponsor's answering machine but my friend have not yet called the program officer yet to advise that he can't anymore sponsor me.

Please let me know your thoughts. Actually I applied under MPNP Skilled worker program under NOC 2147.

Hi j_sagz,

Much as I want to give you a good answer but I really do not know what to say. Maybe it would be better for you to wait for the decision from MPNP Case Officer before taking further action or exploring other options. Just in case if your friend will be dropping you at this point of your application, then I suggest you start exploring other options because there are a lot of options for Canada. Have you tried exploring the Federal Skilled Worker category? If your profession falls on the in demand profession list, then it would be easy for you to apply as long as the cap (300 slots per profession list) is not filled yet.

Right now, better stay optimistic and hope for the best inspite of the situation.

And one more thing. How do they send the LOA is it via email or by a regular mail. Thanks....

Hi Lovely Singh,

Please share and post your application information so you can be included in the timeline. Please check the spread sheet being updated regularly by 02clar3nc325. You will see the attached spread sheet at the bottom of her post particularly in the signature portion.

For your concern, I would say that if you received your AOR last August 2013 because you submitted your application via mail, so meaning, I suppose your application will be classified as August applicant. Unlike us, we submitted online so we get our AOR on the same day of the same month. Although this is only my own interpretation and understanding based on my review of our timeline. If that is the case, you need to extend your patience a little bit more because June and July applicants are not being processed yet, with exception for a few June applicants under family stream.
