i think it takes about a month to get LOA after interview.
Also can you tell us, what date you filed you application. Also your profile time line is different?

I applied mid Jan 2013
Sponsor interview 7th May 2013.
Don't mind my profile am using my brothers profile for family sponsorship for spouse.

I am general stream app. And have been nominated last week. Got Loa.
Now I am preparing Cic app file to send nova scotia.
I have one confusion regarding one Form.

I have paid the fees by my brother in law's credit card. So should I have put 'Fee application form 1 page?? Or only have to put receipt and payer information form???

Pls help me with this...

It actually depends on the Program Officer handling your case. They may or they may not. Be prepared and comply once asked of any addtnl doc/s.

Can i get answer to my below mentioned questions...

Hi All,

I am planning to apply under MPNP and will use the online tool. Here are few questions that I would like any one to answer :

1. I have a bank statement with Sufficient funds. Do I need a bank certificate as well. Are they same or different?
2. The "transcripts" are sent by the university in the sealed envelop (which I have heard should not be opened). How do I scan them if they are sealed?
3. Do I need the transcripts for 10th & 12th Class (secondary education) as well? I have only got it for 1-3rd year mark sheet and graduation degree.

Please reply quickly as I am planning to fill online this Saturday. Thanks in advance !!

1. Bank Statement and Bank Certificate are two different things. If your bank statement with sufficient fund has the bank address, phone numbers, signed by the authorized bank officer and with at least 6 months history, you will be fine with that. I am referring to loose papers issued by your bank either by post or personally handed to you. However, if you only have the bankbook/passbook, you will need to get a bank certificate from your bank because your document should be signed by an authorized representative.

2. You will need to open the envelope to scan. I never heard of anything like a sealed envelope of transcript shouldn't be opened. Others may correct me. The only way to send your application online is to scan it, otherwise you do it by mail.

3. You will need to submit the completed transcript to avoid hassle.

It's actually case-to-case basis. Some program officer may release the LOA the day after the sponsor's interview. Some may take a while like weeks to months. Take in consideration as well the transit time of the decision letter from Canada to your mailing address. Like in my country, Philippines, transit time takes 3-4 weeks.

But usually it only takes a month to receive LOA and less than a week if the mailing address is in Canada.

We are from the Philippines. Actually my husband is the principal applicant. My sister-in-law was also nominated and already living in Canada since October 2010. My elder sister-in-law nominated my youngest sister-in-law after a year and left last October, 2012.

Same date received our file number.

i applied MPNP family stream (online) on 15th april 2013
and got file number next day, by mistake i didnt mention my continuing bachelors education along with my spouse's bachlors (continue) in my application, what should i do now ?
do tell me will they add my transcripts on my file ?
