Hi guys, i just want to ask a question. We just had our medical last friday (September 27) at St. Lukes Taguig. I had an additional exam for Hepa B because may hikaw ako sa tenga. My question is, i'm planning to have a tattoo since the medical is already finished. Is it ok? or there will be problems pag dating ko sa canada? or should i wait for the result first and the visa request (claiming it! ;D) before having a tattoo. Thanks guys and Godbless! ;D

Hi,
My sponsor is a distant relative. I answered No if my occupation is regulated, if your job is also included in NOC 2281, you can refer to this link.

http://www.workingincanada.gc.ca/report-eng.do?area=11326&lang=eng&noc=2281&action=final&backurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.workingincanada.gc.ca%2Freport-eng.do%3Faction%3Dfinal%26area%3D11326%26noc%3D2281%26s%3D0%26source%3D6&ln=p&s=3&source=6#RegulatedOccupation

Good luck!

Hi ZJG,

Thanks!

I guess you have answered NO/NA in the follow up questions for non regulated occupation?

If your occupation is regulated, what steps will you take to meet the requirements for working in this occupation in Manitoba?
If your occupation is regulated, can you start the licensing process before you arrive?
If yes, please explain what steps will be taken to start the licensing process before you arrive in Manitoba:
If your occupation is regulated, in what related, non-regulated occupations could you find skilled employment in Manitoba based on your training and work experience?

TIA

Hi guys!

I'm glad to be here. Meron na akong mapagtatanungan regarding my application.

First, I just sent my application last Aug14 and an application confirmation was received. It said that I will received another email within the next 48 hours including my file number. I waited for 48 hours but no email was received.

Nine days past by, Aug 23, nareceived ko na yung file number. I have this impression that "siguro napakarami nang nag-aapply kaya umabot ng ganon katagal.

Anyway, our family (me, wife and 3 children) application course through a distant relative or a friend. Both me and my wife don't posses a job that is regulated in Canada but I have an Eligibility score or Self Assessment score of 72 which is above the requirement of 60. I indicated two friends that was now residing in Winnipeg last 2009 and 2010. No sponsorship was needed cause we have funds to support all of us as required. So all we need is a support or consent from my two friends. Nakapagbigay na rin ng Settlement Plan 2 yung friend namin. I think it was, Aug 15.

October 1 na ngayon and still I haven't get any updates for my application. We are still hoping in Gods Will that it will be granted to us.

By April 2014, pwede na akong mag-avail ng early retirement na offer dito sa work ko here in the Philippines. Inaalala ko lang, hindi kaya magkaron ng problem kung sa application ko. Nakalagay lang don is "up to present" ang work ko. It cannot be edited anymore. I hope someone who has knowledge on this or have similar situation like me can give me some idea about this, kung ok lang na ganon or hindi?

Please... Please... also pray for us to be approve as immigrant... Thanks a lot kababayan....

Hi fogus-bogus! Yes, I did answer N/A to those Qs

hi everyone,

i'd like to ask, I learned that my sponsor has been interviewed even without her submitting her SP2. I also learned from her that she has yet to forward it to MPNP and it will turn 30 days this October 2.

i'd like to ask if there is a repercussion on this? will it affect my application?

thank you for your advise and POVs. appreciate it.

God bless!

hi anabia,

no, i'm under the general stream and i'm still here in my host country. yeah, I think it's a deviation from the normal process that we know. I used to think SP2 should be submitted first before the interview, but mine is different.

do you think late submission of SP2 will affect my application?

thanks!

Hi cebugirl, just my 10 cents, I think it might affect your application cuz in my understanding, the sp2 is the supporting document for the sp1. It's a hard copy of the things your sponsor is willing to do to support your settlement once you are there in Canada.

Thanks vmacc.

I think it is a collective effort for all the members. Without the participation of the members the tracking sheet will not be as good as it is today. Thanks for the members of this forum for keeping the tracking sheet alive.

You're welcome. :D

By the way, can you please update my CIO application.

Name: Zenny00
