Example Titles
contact centre agent – customer service
customer service representative – call centre

san mo nakita yang customer service monitor- telephone system / customer service operator- telephone system?

dto kasi ako tumingin..
www5 dot hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Profile dot aspx?val=6&val1=6552

Sis oijoi, choose the NOC that is very close to your job description/s and should I add, the closest to your heart... then you'll never go wrong with it!

Hi cacai16. I think we are quite of the same page. I graduated nursing. RN. but I work as sales for IT Solutions company. NOC 6221 Technical sales specialists – wholesale trade. I think the draw would be based on your current job (hopefully). Not on your degree.
Sis Mimikoy, yes, the NOC will be based solely on the current job, and the draw will be based on the EOI ranking points under 6 factors. :-* ;D :-*

Hi there sis cacai16 ! If you like my reply below, please click [good] +1 point for me on the left side of this message! ;) :D ;)

1. "my sister suggested to change my NOC. Because even if I'm a nurse, I work as a dental assistant or a call center agent. And it has a different NOC."

Your NOC will be based on your (present) occupation or within the past 5 years. And you will have your COEs + other proof, like training certs, contracts, etc.

Factor 3: Work Experience

Work experience points are based on documented proof of full-time employment in the past five years. Only full-time jobs of six months (continuous) or longer are considered.

2. "Will it be a problem pagdating sa mga school documents ko?"

No. School DOX will be used to assess the number of years you were in school/college/university; as well as the number of courses/degrees you graduated from, and finally to show your highest educational attainment, that is if you had masters/doctoral degree/s. However, you may use your TORs + Diplomas/Certificates to demonstrate the number of years you studied english.

Factor 4: Education

Education Points are based on documented proof of completed education and /or training programs at recognized education institutions. A completed program is one for which you have met all requirements and received a certificate, diploma or degree.

3. "And lastly, I haven't submitted my EOI yet pero naka receive na ako ng email confirmation."

Are you sure of this? What was the email like? Did it have the subject: "MPNP – EOI-Skilled Worker Confirmation"? Which says:

Dear Name,

This is a confirmation that your Expression of Interest (EOI) has been received by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program for Skilled Workers (MPNP-SW).

If you received such, then you must have clicked on submit. :)

4. "Ngpanic ako kasi wala pa ako IELTS number dun. I can still change it still right? And even my NOC if ever?"

As long as you haven't received the LAA yet, you can still update the info in your EOI. By making such, you will receive an email with the subject, "MPNP – EOI-Skilled Worker Update Confirmation"

Dear Name,

Thank you for updating your EOI submission. This email serves as confirmation that your updated information has been received by our office. Please note that your EOI submission will be considered for selection for a period of one year from the date of your initial submission, after which it will be removed from the MPNP-Skilled Worker EOI database. The changes you made will not extend the validity period of your current EOI submission.

If and when you already received the LAA, and you know that your points will be negatively affected due to the changes you want to make or due to the documents/eveidences you have on hand, then you have to:

Declining your Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA)
If your new score is lower than the minimum points score in the draw from which you were advised to apply, you should consider declining this LAA. You should also consider declining if you no longer meet the eligibility criteria of one of the MPNP streams. If you decide to apply in the above cases, your application may be refused. If you decline, you would have to submit a new EOI to be considered for future rounds of invitations.

Good luck!

Wow! Thank you znarfier! Very detailed and very helpful. I already clicked the +1 and hopefully I did it right. ;D :D

For now, I'm thinking of working in a callcenter again. I have to wait for 6 months in order for me to change my NOC. And hopefully, bago pa man mg 6 months eh ma.lift na ung exempt sa nurses. :(

And yes, I received the email confirmation about the EOI. I didn't even clicked the 'Review and Submit' link yet. You even have to tick on the check box, pero di pa ako umabot dun. I thought I would die from heart attack when I read the email. I got my IELTS result earlier so I was able to update my information online. From there I figured out that there was really a glitch. Kasi first time pinasok ung link ng 'Review and Submit' eh and dun ko nakita sila click-click. ;D :D

And the long wait starts now.. :'( :(

Please does one spouse need to take and pass the Test of English Exam (e.g. IELTS) before being qualified to be granted Permanent Residency?. There is a space for that on one of the forms. Province has already nominated one of the spouse and has passed and submitted the test results as part of the initial application for nomiation. should the other spouse also take the test and pass now? please advice.

also, This is regarding filing forms for permanent residency after being nominated. please on the form IMM 5406 for additional family information, to be completed by both Principal applicant and spouse separately, how do i fill in the section A? should both spouse write their names in both forms on section A and the names of their parents too separately. Its a bit confusing. I have read the guide, but its not clearly spelt out. thanks

You have a point here basic_instinct ! I can say that your prediction might be correct as some may have did it by mistake while others did it hoping to get the LAA ahead of the others. Well, let's just hope that we all have submitted our EOIs with truthful info so as to avoid issues.

Wishing everyone in this thread all the best!

God bless us all!
And may I just add to this guys, from a Facebook group that I joined, I went on my way to send PMs to two ladies who posted they received their LAAs on the 3rd draw. I kindly asked for their breakdown of points so I can compare with mine (which they provided), medyo napapaisip kasi ako why the lowest ranking scores have gone down just a bit for those outside Canada, ganun ba karami yung may points on regional migration, etc.. Turned out when the two replied to me, they answered YES pala on the question regarding their proficiency on Canada's 2nd official language which gave them 25 points. In the end, they both declined their LAAs and opened new profiles. Without understanding the question fully, they answered YES to a question. They were thankful na din na nakita yung mali nila sa EOI before they could have submitted a full application. Baka daw mahirap panindigan na marunong sila ng French :p or ma-ban pa for 2 years because of that.. Bottomline, it may be that a lot have committed the same mistake, a lot have gained higher EOI scores by mistake or by intention just to get ahead and receive LAAs sooner than the others. And in the end, they cannot support the data they provided in the EOI. So for those whose points are lower or those who are malapit lapit na sa last lowest ranking points pero di pa naabutan, don't fret - di lang umabot kasi may mga nabigyan ng LAAs na hindi dapat nabigyan. Hopefully, MPNP can address the issues and provide more "safeguards" para intentional man ang mistake or hindi sa pagsagot sa EOI - maiwasan na lang at maunang mabigyan ng LAA kaagad yung mga nagbigay ng "truthful" info talaga... :) :) :) and lastly, to lessen the agony of waiting for more deserving ones :-*

Louise0324 sis, may I ask what kind of proof do you have in mind for --- English ang gamit sa workplace ? Recording ba? LOL

Seriously, please share your thoughts on this... TNX!
Hi bro znarfier.. additional note lang sa COE ko yung profile ng company, US based BPO with an offshore accounting team in the Philippines of which I am a part of.

I guess it will be safe that we prepare both sets of documents. Red ribboned and hindi. And for your case, you can have a representative do it for you. Just give them an authorization letter. Cause ganun ginawa ko sa ibang documents ko, I asked my mother to process the red ribbon for me. Possible naman. :)
last time hubby ko ang umuwi kasi may edad na din mommy ko.. you know.. oldies na. pero kinailangan pa din niya ng SPA from consulate.. ang problem lang namen is yung statement ng bank account. kelangan account holder talaga. sad.

That's why patient and be truthful sa mga sagot.

Hi guys, been very busy the past few weeks and never even heard anything about the 3rd draw! Until i checked the forum... glad to see some fellow Filipino received their LAA, and for those like me who have lower than 500 points, our will definitely come. Let us not lose hope, keep on praying and claim that we are going to get our LAA soon. Also, make sure that all the necessary papers are ready so that when LAA open its arms for us, we can easily submit our application. God bless everyone and be ready! :D :D :D

This happened to me. Nung nakuha ko ung points ko after submission of EOI, I noticed na sobra ng 25 points. So I reviewed everything again and again. There I found the 2nd language was answered yes and I can't even remember kung paano ko sinagutan at first yun. The red question mark helped a lot. Kaya careful talaga lagi. Slowly but surely! :D ;D

Hi! I am new here and I have a question. Regarding years of experience, can I include my work last 2009 until 2011? Counted ba sya as 2 years or just 1 year for the past 5 years? Thank you guys! :)
