I am a newbie and about to start the journey of applying pa lang. Appreciate all the help i can get via this forum and will also share accordingly.

Opo, mataas po ang mga points ng mga nagapply ng for Express entry na inopen nila this year. Meron din pong thread para sa mga Filipino applicant na nagapply this year. May mga pagkakaiba rin po sa process ng mga nagpasa ng 2014 against sa 2015. THe other thing po is parang may draw lots po ata na ginagawa base po ata sa points ng applicant kung mabibigyan sila agad ng chance para sa express entry. So kung mas mababa po ang total points nyo may chance po na huli kayo mabunot. Ang alam ko po is pang 4th or 5th draw na po ata sila ngayon. Check nyo din po yung thread nila para makakuha din po kayo ng idea ma'am.

Hi, I am also a July 2014 applicant. Online status changed just last week to Assessment Pending. I guess they are reviewing application on case to case basis because there are more qualified applicants who still don't have any update. Let's just hope that all 2014 applicants will have LOA's before the end of the year. God bless us all.

Good to hear that. I was also waiting since last week but as per checking my status is still "received". Could you also share your timeline please!!!!! This immigrant application is a real battle of patience . Hoping to receive the change status within this week.

Another thing, may I know your self-assessment points? I've read on the iimmigratemanitoba that they're prioritizing strong documents applicants. And I believe it's by points. Mine is only 70+ points. Is it good enough?

I really don't know how MPNP validate their applicants. I'm July 31, 2014 applicant pero as of today my application is still "Received". By points ba sya or by date ng filing? Almost a year na pero I don't have any idea kung nagagalaw ba nila yung documents ko. Do you have any idea kung papano po sila macocontact? Salamat po ng madami. ;D

I really can't remember my exact assessment points but I am sure that it's around 70+.

then July 18, 2015, an Email received by my sponsor acknowledging the receipt of SP2
STATUS RECEIVED din po me until now.. wla po changes up to now.
almost same po tau.. any news po? thanks po

Sabi ng sponsor ko nagreply naman daw ang mpnp sa kanya acknowledging the SP2 she sent last year pa. Pero wala pa din balita eh. Ang alam ko nga 70+ points din ang self assessment ko at ok naman lahat. Hoping we could get the good news soon bro.

It is so nice to hear from July 2014 applicants that they were already interviewed or their sponsors were... this only means that when a July 31st, 2014 applicant's file finally gets assessed, then the April 30, 2015 applicants will be next!

To others who haven't received an update yet, just pray and persevere coz before you knew it you will be flying with your family to Canada soon!

I got ITA and filling the PR application form.There is a question that asks if any of my visa was ever refused to any country or not.

I had applied UK in 2007 for student visa and got refused.do i need to answer YES for that question?i dont have the refusal letter.and the refusal seal was in my previous passport,not in current one.

Hi justpat,

I think you will add up the 4 catgories and divide it by four. I don't know if decimal should be rounded off. Your score should be 5.375. Therefore, your CLB is 5. Hope that this is correct
