Hello guys! I am a newbie here. Been reading your posts for quite sometime now so I decided to join you guys. Ah, the agony of waiting! Your experiences inspires me though. Thanks for making this forum!

My sister-in-law sent our application in Manitoba last June 2012, I am the principal applicant since I have more educ. points than my husband. Here's our timeline:

CATEGORY - Family PNP
VISA OFFICE - Manila
APP. FILED - June 2012
AOR Received - September 3, 2012 (dated August 3, 2012)
SPONSOR'S INTERVIEW - November 2, 2012

I am hoping and praying we'll get a positive response. Do you guys know how long it would take to receive the LOA from the date of the sponsor's interview? I live in Quezon City by the way..thanks and God bless us all!

May I know the exact date of your application?
Did you apply by mail or your sponsor filed it personally to MPNP Office?
Where is your mailing address? If in the Philippines, usually it will take you 3-4 weeks to receive the LOA. If in Canada, it will be less than a week.

I'll add your timeline, once your details are complete.

Anyway, I also live in Quezon City.

It took 4 weeks before we received LOA by snail mail. I'm from south of Metro Manila. Unless you wrote your sponsor's address as mailing address, which some applicants did.

Will LOA pass thru Manila VO before receiving it here in QC?....this is also the 4th week since our sponsor has been interviewed 12 Oct.

Our application was filed personally to MPNP Office on June 05, 2012. Actually, I live in Manila but my mailing address is at my workplace in Quezon City. Thank you so much this forum it is really helpful to all of us.
