I'am Under General Stream, my uncle in manitoba submitted my application to MPNP office through mail .

Good day!!

I just want to ask if how many months will i expect to receive my Acknowledgement Receipt (File Number) from Manitoba Provincial Immigration Office? I have sent my application last Aug 26 then the office received it on Aug 31, 2012 (via fedex)! Am sort of anxious since it is 3 mos now. BTW, its under General Stream. Thanks guys!

Lastly, is the process now really faster compared from the previous years?

i got this link...and check all the criteria. but brother i am really depressed to see that one person can only sponsor one applicant on one time of any steam.because i have only one friend in manitoba and he already sponsored his cousin. so is there any other aspect for me..please reply bro.i am totally sad.

Hello

Under General Stream, it will take 4-5 months before the release of AOR. You may expect it on Dec or January.

It is actually slower this year compared from the previous years. Before it will only take 6 mos for general stream applicants to get the LOA but now it's 8-10 mos. The processing times I've mentioned are all based from the timelines in our tracking sheet.

There is another stream of MPNP that you may apply in, the Strategic Initiative Stream, exploratory visit. Here's the link: http://www.immigratemanitoba.com/how-to-immigrate/strategic-initiatives/

Yes, they did acknowledge my brother's SP2, they emailed him back...
