MPNP Application 2012

hi all,

I applied for MPNP in jan 2012 under general steam(mail) from India. I got AOR on 5 June and sponsor interview on 1 sep and waiting for LOR.

Could anyone tell me that how long usually it takes time to get LOR after sponsor interview?

And I little worried about my interview as well. will immigration definitely interview me or not?

Hi lucky96,

This is really a great news. You're the first one under general stream who reached the interview step.
As I know, the applicant usually will not be interviewed. And it takes one to two weeks for the officer to issue the LOA. So I guess it is on the way.

So, 2012 GS applications are really moving now When is the exact date of your application?

May I know if where is your mailing address? Is it in India or in Manitoba? This has something to do with the mailing of your application result.

Usually, if they will call you then it should be right after your sponsor's interview.So, hopefully you will get your LOA.

Yes, it is now. Unlike last year, it's really fast.

Congrats to u bro. Its really nice to hear from one that they moved to 2012 applications .... can u share wt ques were asked by the officer to yur sponsor..???............Its a really cheeeers time for u...................................

Sorry for being away for a while was stuck in getting required document to complete my application. Still waiting for the transcript related document.

Last update i got from my consultant that things are little slow now and approx two months delay is added in steps after AOR.

General stream applicants cannot apply online its only mail or direct office.

Yes, it is now. Unlike last year, it's really fast.

tnx tweety05.. all we have to do now is pray pray and pray.. i hope they will resume to the their normal routine.. anyway, im on the 2nd month of waiting.. i still have four months to wait for the result right? im giving it six months.. what do u think?

Hi Kumar5 as you asked what immigration asked to my sponsor in interview .....so my friend they just asked few questions.
How you know the applicant? will you look after the applicant? thats all they asked .....

1. Was your application submitted by your sponsors to MPNP Office or you directly mailed it to MPNP Office?
2. Did they asked addtnl docs from you when you received the AOR?

It my pleasure to update our TS and to answer queries.

Does it mean that from 6-7 months of processing it will then be 8-9 months from application to LOA?

We can't predict but if we will base it from other applications for family stream (mail) this year, you may expect it anytime this month or the most until next month.

We'll see.
