Hi All of my Friends,

Update from my side , Just right now I hv got a email from CIC about the UCI no and Application no.

So AOR received from CIC on 05-Mar-12.

One another thing I also have to share that I have only given name on my passport and last/family name field is left blank on my passport. And I have put my complete name in family name column of Generic Form for PR application.

@ Tweety/ Emperor: Please update my timeline.

Thanks All

What date was your credit card charged for the application fee. The AOR usually states when your draft or credit card was charged. Kindly provide that. AOR date updated.

One of the members shared that MPNP is currently working on the backlogs, so i guess, there is really a delay for all applications. If you want you can email them, mpnpsupporter@gov.mb.ca. I emailed them regarding my application and they replied that they have my application and I will hear from them in due time. Weird.

Hi, Can I ask you from where country are you applying from? Thanks

Can I suggest to include applicant's country in the Google docs timeline. Mailing system duration maybe different between countries. Thanks.

Range for FS-mail applicants is usually between 4 to 6 months. Had you applied online, you might be rejoicing by now with LOA. Anyway, there's no harm in sending them an email as Kurt suggested. I, myself, send a follow-up email and 3 days after my sponsor was interviewed. Just write your email in a courteous manner that will elicit sympathy from the officer.

Valuable information but the timing is just late. Looking at the track sheet, we have 125 members and to get everybody to provide that now might not be achievable.

What you can do is to ask for members that are from the same country as yours in order to have an idea of the average number of days/weeks/months it takes to get mail delivered to your region/country. My LOA was dated 30 September 2012 but was mailed out on 02 October 2012 but received I received it in my country, Nigeria on the 19 November 2012.

My advise to all is to ensure you use a Manitoba mailing address as this will save you unnecessary anxiety while waiting for your LOA.

Thanks pari. Am from the Philippines. My sponsor got interviewed around first week of Feb. And it's almost a month now, and yet no LOA.

Anyway, I also wanna ask if applying for PR through CIO (Sydney, Nova Scotia) is the only way? Can't we just go straight through the Canadian Embassy here in Manila?

Also, if you get an LOA, does this mean almost a 100% you get a PR?

Thanks in advance. :-)

I think you're not included in our "Tracking Sheet" (click under Emperor's signature space). Please give the available details/timelines of your application so that Emperor can include you. If your mailing address is in the Philippines, I guess you will get your LOA by next week.

All applications are initially processed in Nova Scotia and then transferred to the respective regional Visa Offices (Manila, Accra, etc.) . VO's will then request for Medical Report and will be also responsible for stamping visa on the passport of successful applicants. LOA is not a guarantee that one will be issued a visa. The decision will be the sole discretion of the Federal government based on their assessment of the information you have provided in your application package and your medical examination results.

There are eight ( 8 ) sections that needed to be completed for each applicant. Kindly provide that so as to have a comprehensive data of yours. This thread prides itself of having one of the best maintained track sheet and that we should sustain by having complete set of data for new members.

Waiting for the full details from you:
