Dear Emperor and tweety :-

Need your urgent advise for the following :-

1. Where and how to attach photographs ?

I clipped the 6 copies of passport photos for each member of my family differently and then included them in a regular size envelop unsealed.

2. Where to place original LOA?

Follow the instruction as contained in the checklist. As at the time I submitted I want to believe I placed it immediately after the checklist.

3. Should we attach paper clips to all the forms needed or should leave them unbound ?

I arranged all my documents in the sequence as contained in the checklist and thereafter used a paper clip to hold them all. Dont staple your documents.

4. Where to place supporting documents like statement of accounts , employer history, educational documents for supporting background decleration .

When you say supporting documents like statement of account, etc, are those listed in the checklist?, if not ignore them as part of documents with your application.

5. What to write in status in country column in background decleration form for personal history details if you are in your home country and did not went outside .

I really dont understand this question, but if you have not travelled outside your country, it is safe to just write your current country of abode.

6.Is it mandatory to fill the signatures , dates where ever applicable with black pen ?
I suppose it is advisable. I will suggest you go with that unless there are serious reasons against using a black pen.

I am about to send the application package to CIC , kindly help me .

All the very best

My answers are based from what I did.
1. Where and how to attach photographs ?
I placed each set of pictures (6pcs) in the smallest brown envelope. I used paper clip to hold all of it with the 2 self addressed mailing labels.
2. Where to place original LOA?
I placed it on topmost of my application as instructed by MPNP.
3. Should we attach paper clips to all the forms needed or should leave them unbound ?
With mine, I left it unbound.
4. Where to place supporting documents like statement of accounts , employer history, educational documents for supporting background decleration .
The supporting documents you've mentioned, I believe, are not included in the checklist.
5. What to write in status in country column in background decleration form for personal history details if you are in your home country and did not went outside .
Citizen
6.Is it mandatory to fill the signatures , dates where ever applicable with black pen ?
Dates can be filled in electronically but signatures, ofcourse, should be handwritten using black pen.

I am about to send the application package to CIC , kindly help me .
Good luck.

Hello. I have a nephew in Manitoba (son of my sister) who is a registered nurse. My question is: Can my husband be the principal applicant for MPNP-Family Stream as overall he has a better profile (and therefore would have higher points) than me?

TIA for your inputs.

Yes your husband can be the principal applicant. You just have to provide at a later stage (when MPNP requests for Settlement Part 2) the proper documents to establish the "connection/relationship" between your husband and your nephew. In the meantime while completing your application, you can start gathering the documents listed below in order to be ready once MPNP request for the same.

1. Your nephew's birth certificate
2. Your marriage certificate
3. Your birth certificate
4. Your sister's birth certificate
5. Your sister's marriage certificate

I think the above documents will be enough to establish the "connection/relationship" between your husband and your nephew.

My advise is to that he put a call through to MPNP when he is back in Manitoba, just to ask if they had called him while away on vacation.

thanks emperor! :-)
JUST WANT TO ASK ALSO 'COZ IM A LITTLE BIT CONFUSED AS I VIEW THE TIMELINES....

Is AOR received thru email from MpNP differs with AOR from CIO? Are we gonna expect another AOR from CIO?
As i remember ,our sponsor told us that he directly sent d application to MPnP Notre Dame, not in Nova Scotia.... the latter was the new address made by CIC.... just want to clarify.....

Thanks in advance....:-)

Hi! Just help-out Emperor in answering queries...

There are two stages in finally getting a permanent residence visa (PR). The first stage is what you're undergoing at the moment...that is... to be nominated by the Provincial Government of Manitoba to the Federal Government of Canada as a candidate to be granted permanent residency. The final stage is the submission/approval of your application for PR to/by the Federal Government through CIO.

Yes, you will get two AOR's one from MPNP and one from CIO. Simply put, MPNP = LOA; CIO = PR

Hello Guys,
Anybody has the idea regarding the PRF payment form (only processing fee is available in CIO application package)? Please support...

Thanks in advance

please see as quoted....

You will have to pay:

◦The processing fee for you and your dependants must be paid when you apply. It is not refundable, even if your application is not approved in the end.
◦The Right of Permanent Residence fee for you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, if applicable. You will need to pay this fee if your application is approved. It must be paid before Citizenship and Immigration Canada issues your permanent resident visa. This fee is refundable if you withdraw your application, if your application is not approved, or if you do not use your visa.

there is a facility/option "pay my fees online" for CIO application in the website
https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/order.do?lob=11

is this effective and accurate?

please enlighten..thanks,

Ah, I have a long way to go... We're only on the 1st stage.... MPNP just gave us the file# and stated in letter that they will review if the application is complete and eligible for assessment according to current program criteria...(IS THIS A PASS OR FAIL STAGE?)

>> How long will it take before they issue the LOA?
In our case,it took us almost 8months before we received AOR from MPNP from d' date of submission of the application. The online application seems faster compared to application directly submitted to MPNP office
.

>>What will be the next stage before receiving LOA??
Is it submission of additional docs (if any) and d' sponsors interview?

Sorry guys i have lots of questions ....'hope u won't get tired of answering our queries... God bless!

Thanks Much Ad123164 & Emperor
