@ dinahmne thanx for sharing ur updates. So u r also General stream applicant. But sponsor's interview before AOR is really confusing one. U applied in last aug 2012 so now it's time for ur AOR, not for LOA. Let's see.. U have to Wait for next 1 month... After tht u may know why they interviewed ur sponsor. Good luck

This is the trend now. They proceed with the interview already without issuing you an AOR/file number. I know three applicants with this kind of scenario. I also emailed the MPNP regarding this, and they claimed it to be true since they are full of work load. But if you have received a letter or AOR, it only means they require you to submit additional document.

I am actually ambiguous with MPNP not sending AOR first because atleast once you have received it you are aware that they are looking into your file already. In the contrary, looking the timeline for GS applicant is it quite faster than before. Let us hope that our applications will have a positive result. Cheers ;D

Yes, our sponsor got interviewed. They were sent an e-mail that the policy and program office assigned to our application is trying to contact them. The e-mail has the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program File No. I am not sure if that is the same with AOR. Hoping for the best and will continue praying


I would also like to ask those who have submitted to CIC. Would they still require an updated bank history. What happened is that we used some of the money in the bank. Would that be a problem? Your thoughts are highly appreciated

I have checked the document needed, it is not written in the list. So, it is not already needed.

HI ! I am also an August 2012 applicant. We submitted our application through a distant relative in Canada last August 22 of 2012. We did not receive any AOR but i just got an e-mail from our sponsor that they just got interviewed last Feb 1, 2013

Wow, That's a good news i means they will not provide AOR and they will proceed to interview the sponsor. Thanks for the details.

Wow! Congrats! I hope you will get your LOA soon. I am also August (31, 2012) applicant but i have no news or update yet. ;D

You'll be the next to the hot seat pare, expect to have that your sponsor will receive an interview.

It looks like that MPNP is doing their job now haha.

just emailed the additional docs requested by MPNP ( Feb.04, 2013), hoping for sponsor interview....

I overlooked the other address in sending application package to CIO. I sent my application package thru FEDEX but I used P.O. Box 1450 instead of 47-49 Dorchester St which is the right address in sending application package thru courier. I thought I’ve done an in-depth research on this CIC thing, apparently not. I Hope this will not cause any delay in the processing of my application.

I noticed that you took over from tweety05 the responsibility in updating the applicants’ timeline. Thank you for accepting such massive responsibility . Updating the timeline requires time and effort. We owe you and tweety05 for this. +1 to both of you.

January 28, 2013-Submitted my application to FEDEX
Feb. 4, 2013-Delivered to CIO and received by D. MACNEIL
Method of Payment: Master credit card
VO: CEM

In response to another thread (re: Exploratory), Congratulations for completing the CGA certification. Please disregard my challenge about competition on open position, you are way advanced than me and I am not in a position to compete with you at this time.

Are you General Stream? This is a welcome development. I submited my GS application September, 2012. I have not heard from MPNP. If the sponsor could be interviewed without initial AOR then, there should be no cause to worry waiting for AOR that may never come before sponsor interview. I think there are alot of steps being taken to reduce the waiting time. CIC Payment can now be made online, MPNP GS application that used to be by mail is now online submission. All things are working for our good. It is well.

I dont think so. I actually sent mine through courier to the same address as you have done since that was what was stated in my LOA. I was a bit concerned but my application was in deed processed just like others that were sent to the Dorchester address. Be calm for it will be processed.
