Hello everyone.... I would like to ask you guys if I can change my mailing address from Philippines to my sponsor's address in Manitoba...Is that ok? My sponsor will just send to my address here in Philippines... Please reply.....

Hi, just send them an email and they will changed your mailing address to your sponsor in Winnipeg. I did this.

, i just got LOA and going to lunch my application for CIO so only document i stuct over that is "How will i economically establish myself in canada " so please Guide me how can i write or if you send me a sample for this will be great .

Yes, Lovely you may do so. Just log-in again to the same site where you filed your application. You can UPDATE the following:
1. Residence Address
2. Mailing Address
3. Phone Numbers
4. Marital Status
5. Add Dependents

Hi, just send them an email and they will changed your mailing address to your sponsor in Winnipeg. I did this.

You are right.

I did it too. It will even help you know if your decision letter has been sent out especially if it was not long after your interview or sponsor's interview. If they have sent out the decision letter (LOA), they will inform you about that otherwise they should reply to confirm it has been changed to the new one.

I applied under Family Stream by normal post on July 1, AOR recieved 1 Nov and got call 12/10.

i got a call from MPNP officer questioning me to gauge if i have retention ability or not and he asked me you have one more cousin in Ontario so how should we believe you wont move out of Manitoba, i replied that i am aware if i leave then my cousin would be blacklisted and he wont be able to sponsor any of our relative in future and I will not do such thing or will go back on promise to him.
They also called my cousin and had a chat with him for 5-6 minutes, my cousin asked the officer - if i am a good candidate for immigration and officer said - ofcourse he is.
Having a close relative in other province may give MPNP a reason not to nominate you to Manitoba but if you assured them and they are satisfied with your answers then you'll be receiving your LOA in less than a month. I believe what you answered is good enough since you showed them that you are aware of the consequences. Stating that you are a good candidate gives you a hint of having enough points for the assessment.

you or anyone in forum - what you reckon officer would be thinking regarding my retention ability as i have one more cousin who lives in Ontario.
i know you all would be doing guess work but still asking.....
Just wait for your LOA soon.


Were you asked of additional docs? What are those? date of submission?

$550 each (principal applicant, dependant who is 22 years old or older, below 22 years old and is married or in a common-law relationship)
$150 each (dependants below 22 years old and unmarried or not in a common-law relationship)

It is important to read the guidelines. You will find all the information and answers but if you need clarification/s then you can always post it here.
