hello tweety, need some advise about settlement plan part1? question 3 reason why chose manitoba? although i already have some ideas and answer about but it better to know some good suggestion in the forum. any advise will be highly appreciated good luck for the all of us new applicant.

Hello I submitted MAS form when I applied in February this year but I read SP1 form already. I was also asked of the same question when I was interviewed by the MPNP Officer.

I told her that I chose Manitoba because most of my relatives are living there (with this I want to establish my ties in Manitoba), I also said that being in the healthcare field, since I am a Nurse, I believe that I can economically help Manitoba as Nurse is included in the shortage list of occupations in Canada. I forgot to say that I applied for jobs as Healthcare Aide in Manitoba (a job that I can apply in while doing my registration as Nurse in Manitoba). Luckily 3 companies responded but the problem is they can not help me get LMO (Labor Market Opinion) because they are not positive of the approval from CIC. They are prioritizing people who are already permanently living in Manitoba (if I told her this, she might think that I can easily get a job once I arrived in Manitoba. I should have also said that there are many job opportunities for Nurses when I checked the websites of WRHA (Winnipeg Regional Health Authority), Brain hunter, Manitoba jobsite...... (she'll know that you are planning ahead of time to be successful in Manitoba).

State things that can help you get points in the ADAPTABILITY criterion or in other criteria if possible.

Another question, my papers were returned but it already have file# MB...... but it also state "you may wish to reapply provided you can meet the eligibility criteria..." would it be ok if I will change from GS to Family stream as I can understand i am starting it all over again, or would it be better if I continue with my old application under GS.

please help me coz i really want to send my application as soon as possible. it is already complete i just cant decide in what manner i should pass it on.

I strongly suggest, you apply online. It will really make a difference in terms of the waiting time. Apply soon but make sure don't forget to include what you missed in your first application.

thank you for the response! that gives me hope! i will reapply and i'll make it sure that it's 100% complete. By the way here is the reason why I was ineligible, there is a name error on my uncle's (sponsor) birth certificate but they already refer it to their attorney and they submitted the supporting documents as well and my mom has a name error on hers too. These are the things that I need to be careful of because it doesnt show how we are related. Is it necessary if I will include photos of us and I'll make our family tree starting from my grandparents and have it notarized as a true copy? Thank you!

What you said are all right, ask an attorney to make the AFFIDAVIT F RELATIONSHIP for you. That;s what my cousins submitted to show their relationship with their sister when they applied under Family Stream. Even if I am under General Stream, I also submitted the AFFIDAVIT OF RELATIONSHIP. Yes, have it notarized, there's no harm if you do it.

You need to provide Reference Letters from the companies you worked in for the last 10 years. Please refer to MDOC FAMILY.

hy teacherdude,

one of my friend applied online in FS on 17th Aug,12 & he got letter of ineligible on 28th Nov,12 because of below 2 reasons.
1) his sponsor is his cousin. officer said that it is not clearly demonstrated about the relationship of his father and his cousins father. he didnt put the document of family tree and sworn decleration of relationship of his father and his uncles father.
2) three months bank statement indicating bank balance. he only put bank balance certificate.

now he has all the documents and he want to re-apply immediately.
so would you please tell me that when you re-apply , you wrote about your previous application to manitoba and what reason you wrote in that section.
its urgent .

Yes, it is important to declare the previous application. Reason? You already mentioned it in your post.

Can you please share your timeline. I need the following details to add you in the tracking sheet:
1. Specific date of application?
2. Was your application submitted by mail or was it directly submitted by your sponsor to MPNP Office?

Usually GS applicants, receive AORs after 4-5 mos after submitting the application. Hopefully, this month you'll get your AOR.

i am applying in a weeks time. Just finalizing my documents. I am applying on General stream which is by mail obviously. I have some questions. If anyone can help me out.
My id card is not in English, and i am sending its translated version. Should i send the original copy as well which is in local language i.e (Urdu).?
Secondly i don't know how much pics are needed. Can some one tell me how much pictures i need to send and what size.?

ID card of what? Is it included in the checklist of MDOC General? I also applied under GS but I can not remember that i submitted any ID card, only passport copy. Can you please clarify this.

Pics, only one for the principal applicant and one for each dependants. I pasted it in a bond paper with printed names under each picture and their relationship to me. For ex..... husband, daughter... There is no required size for it but I sent passport size pics.

Hello

I was never asked for addtnl docs during my MPNP application but i read some posst that after submitting the addtnl docs, they received acknowledgement but others don't. For now, just wait for the next step because usually after a week your sponsor may be and hopefully will be interviewed.
