Hi auie09. The officer asked the following questions, as I can recall from our conversation.
1. Do you know the applicant? How long have you known him?
2. What does he do for a living?
3. How sure are you that he will stay in Manitoba, despite having some relatives in Toronto?
4. How will you help him settle successfully in Manitoba?

Accdg to my brother, there is nothing much that was asked from him. The officer just said that in case they need to ask more questions, they will call him again. One week after the interview, he got the LOA via mail. In my online application I provided a Manitoba mailing address as suggested by the website. Accdg to them, this will allow the MPNP to communicate faster regarding the application. I noticed that some forum members were likewise granted their LOA a week after the interview but the LOA was received after around 3 weeks. Maybe because the LOA was sent to the home country instead.

Congrats Carl Zeiss...bilis...November 18 din kmi nagpasa thru our sister in manitoba...hand carried sa office nila sa manitoba...pero until now walang pang update...Hoping this month rin...

Thanks! I think in 2 months after submission you will receive AOR provided there are no lacking documents. Same with my friend who submitted last Sept 2011, family stream din. They received AOR after 2 months, Nov 2011. If your papers are okay, I think next week your sister will receive your AOR with your file number.

Updates! My brother emailed me today. He just received my Letter of Approval! Again here is my timeline.

Nov 19 - submitted online application
Nov 25 - File Number
Jan 4 - Relative interviewed thru telephone
Jan 11 - LOA

here is my new timeline:

march 2011 - submitted applicatinon in MB
april 2011 - AOR / additional documents
may 2011 - submitted additional documents
sept 2011 - sponsor/applicatn interviewed
oct 2011 - LOA dated sept 2011
nov 2011 - submitted docs to CEM with fees
jan 2012 - got a call from CEM for verification / AOR with file number
jan 2012 - waiting for medical request

Hi Extreme, May I know the exact date you send your application to CEM co,z CEM received my application last Dec. 02, 2011 and I don,t have AOR yet. Thanks

hey there i m new on this blog.can anybody clearify my confusion.i got LOA under mpnp and i am about to send my doc to nova scotchia.my documents are 6 months old like work refrence letter.do i need to arrange a new one or it will work.cuz they mention documentation shud b of up to date...share ur experince....any sugestion wud b appriciatable.
