I am finally actually moving to Canada! I will be driving from the USA. We are being told I need to "export" my car from the USA and then "import" my car into Canada. We have been told we need an export broker for this. Huh? We have no idea who to call for this or what to do. Has anyone been through this? Any help is much appreciated!

This is a decent summary: https://driving.ca/auto-news/news/how-to-import-a-car-from-the-u-s-into-canada

Also suggested reading this: https://tc.canada.ca/en/road-transportation/importing-vehicle/importing-vehicle-united-states-mexico

Make sure you flat out own the car (not leased).

The links Scylla provided give a good overview. It seems overwhelming at first but it's actually not bad. Just be sure you have all the documents and the title and the officers on both sides of the border know what to do.
